STAMFORD, Conn. – June 10, 2020 – Stanley Cup Final Week continues tonight on NBCSN with the Boston Bruins ending the franchise’s 39-year championship drought in Game 7 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Final against the Vancouver Canucks presented at 10 p.m. ET.

Today at 4 p.m. ET, the premiere episode of NHL’s Skates & Plates features center Nick Bonino of the Nashville Predators learning how to prepare Steak Diane and pommes frites with celebrity chef Ludo Lefebvre on NBCSN.

Throughout the remainder of the week, additional featured Stanley Cup broadcasts include the Washington Capitals and St. Louis Blues’ inaugural championships the past two seasons, the Chicago Blackhawks’ win in 2013, as well as the Los Angeles Kings Cup win in 2014.

Games 6 and 7 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Final will be introduced by Kathryn Tappen. Below is each night’s highlighted Stanley Cup Final Week content the remainder of the week:

TONIGHT, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 10 – 2011 STANLEY CUP FINAL

Tonight, NBCSN will present Games 6 and 7 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Final between the Boston Bruins and Vancouver Canucks. Behind a 4-0 shutout win in Game 7, the Bruins ended a 39-year Stanley Cup drought with the victory. Boston goaltender Tim Thomas won the Conn Smythe Trophy.

SKATES & PLATES AT 4 P.M. ET

The NHL’s Skates & Plates is a cooking series that features a chef alongside an NHL player preparing a food dish together, giving viewers the chance to see how the two finished products compare. The premiere episode features Nashville Predators center Nick Bonino with celebrity chef Ludo Lefebvre to learn how to prepare Steak Diane and pommes frites, a classic French dish served at Lefebvre’s Los Angeles restaurant, Petit Trois.

2011 STANLEY CUP FINAL GAME 6 AT 4:30 P.M. ET

Facing a 3-2 series deficit, the Bruins scored four goals in the opening period of Game 6 to jump out to a 4-0 lead in just over a four-minute span. Boston held on to their lead to defeat the Canucks, 5-2, and force a decisive Game 7 in Vancouver.

Seven-time Emmy Award-winner Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick, U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member Eddie Olczyk and ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Pierre McGuire called the matchup from TD Garden in Boston, Ma.

2011 STANLEY CUP FINAL GAME 7 AT 10 P.M. ET & 1 A.M. ET

In Game 7, Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand scored a pair of goals for the Bruins, and goaltender Tim Thomas made 37 saves, as Boston defeated the Canucks in a 4-0 shutout. The victory ended a 39-year Stanley Cup drought for the franchise.

Emrick, Olczyk and McGuire called the matchup from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. Game 7 drew 8.5 million viewers, ranking as the second most-watched NHL game on record since 1994.

2011 BOSTON BRUINS CHAMPIONSHIP FILM AT 11:30 P.M. ET

The film provides an inside look into Boston’s 2011 Stanley Cup title with exclusive footage chronicling the sights and sounds of their championship season, including interviews with players, coaches and Bruins legends.

NHL TOP 10: ALL-TIME RECORDS AT 2:30 A.M. ET

This 30-minute special is a countdown of the top 10 NHL records of all-time, including Bobby Orr’s 139 points scored by a defenseman and Wayne Gretzky‘s 2,857 career points among the record list. The program features exclusive commentary from current and former players, including Sidney Crosby, Phil Esposito and Martin Brodeur.
