STAMFORD, Conn. – June 3, 2020 – NBC Sports’ Premier League coverage continues this weekend with 12 hours of programming, highlighted by six matches, beginning with a 30-minute classic on Saturday at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN as Robbie Mustoe’s Middlesbrough side handed Manchester United their final defeat, 3-2, on Dec. 19, 1998, in their treble-winning 1998-99 season.

At 10:30 a.m. ET, it’s a six-goal thriller at Etihad Stadium in September 2009, when Manchester City clinched their fourth consecutive Premier League win of the 2009-10 season after the Cityzens defeated Arsenal, 4-2. Goals from City’s Micah Richards, Craig Bellamy, Emmanuel Adebayor, and Shaun Wright-Phillips highlighted the match.

Then at 11 a.m. ET, NBCSN revisits a famous Tyne-Wear derby in Newcastle, when captain Kevin Nolan netted a hat trick as the Magpies downed archrivals Sunderland, 5-1, at St. James’ Park in October 2010. Saturday’s encore matches culminate at 11:30 a.m. ET with a classic North London derby, where Tottenham earned a 3-3 draw with Arsenal at White Hart Lane in April 2011. Goals from Spurs’ Rafael van der Vaart (two) and Tom Huddlestone highlighted the match.

Sunday’s coverage begins at 6 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Premier League Season in Review, highlighted by the top storylines and action from the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons. Beginning at 8 a.m. ET, NBCSN presents full event encores of some of the most unforgettable Premier League matches. On April 21, 2013, Luis Suarez’s dramatic late equalizer earned Liverpool a 2-2 draw with Chelsea.

Sunday’s matches conclude at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN, with Leicester City’s dramatic comeback against West Ham in April 2016, when Leonardo Ulloa scored from the penalty spot in the fifth minute of injury-time to earn the Foxes a 2-2 draw with West Ham.

Every Thursday across NBC Sports’ digital properties, including NBC Sports’ YouTube channel, NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports app, members of the Premier League on NBC team will provide commentary as they look back on classic Premier League matches. Tomorrow, Mustoe and Robbie Earle offer special present-day commentary, sharing stories and discussing their rivalry, in which Mustoe scored a late equalizer to rescue a point for Middlesbrough in a 1-1 draw against Earle’s Wimbledon on Feb. 1, 1997.
