Patriots Stop Packers in Red Zone on Last Play of the Game to Defeat Green Bay in Flynn’s First Career Start

STAMFORD, Conn. – April 26, 2020 – NBC Sports’ encore presentations of classic Sunday Night Football games continues tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN with the New England Patriots hosting the Green Bay Packers in Week 15 of the 2010 season.
In Packers quarterback Matt Flynn’s first career start, the Patriots thwart the Green Bay’s last-minute drive, punctuated by a Vince Wilfork strip-sack on fourth-and-one from the New England 15 yard-line on the final play of the game. The Patriots won 31-27.
Mike Tirico introduces tonight’s matchup on NBCSN, and the game presentation will include a specialized ticker featuring live tweets. During the telecast, fans will be provided with on-screen information on how they can help with Coronavirus relief. Fans can tweet #SNFEncore for the chance to see their tweets live on air.

Making his first career start, Flynn led Green Bay into Foxborough to visit Tom Brady and the Patriots on Sunday Night Football in Week 15 of the 2010 season.
Trailing by four points, Flynn, who passed for 251 yards with three touchdowns for a 100.2 passer rating in the game, drove the Packers down the field in a late fourth-quarter comeback bid. Facing a fourth-and-one from the New England 15 yard-line on the last play of the game, Wilfork strip-sacked Flynn to punctuate the Patriots’ dramatic, 31-27, win.
Brady passed for two touchdowns and Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington returned an interception 36 yards for a touchdown to lead the Patriots.
Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth called the game from Gillette Stadium.
