STAMFORD, Conn. – April 1, 2020 – NBC Sports’ Premier League coverage continues this weekend on NBCSN with 16 hours of programming, highlighted by seven matches, including the dramatic ending to the 2011-12 season when Manchester City beat out crosstown rivals Manchester United to win their first-ever Premier League title.

This weekend’s Premiere League coverage begins tomorrow, Thursday, April 2, as members of the Premier League on NBC team will provide commentary as they look back on classic Premier League games. Episodes are available every Thursday across NBC Sports’ digital properties, including NBC Sports’ YouTube channel, NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports app. This week, Robbie Earle and Robbie Mustoe share insights and stories while watching Wimbledon’s 4-0 win against Crystal Palace from April 1993, a game in which Earle scored twice.

Saturday’s classic matches feature 30-minute versions of some of the most memorable games in Premier League history beginning at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN. The games begin with a back-and-forth thriller at Anfield, where Liverpool’s Mario Balotelli came off the bench to score a late winner in a 3-2 victory over Tottenham on Feb. 10, 2015. Then, relive a memorable comeback at 10:30 a.m. ET when Wayne Rooney and Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez helped Manchester United storm back from a 3-0 deficit to earn a 3-3 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Feb. 5, 2012.

A thrilling London derby at 11 a.m. ET features two goals from Harry Kane to inspire a 5-3 home win over first-place Chelsea on New Year’s Day in 2015. This marked Spurs’ first win over Chelsea since April 17, 2010. Saturday’s encore matches culminate at 11:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN with a legendary Manchester United victory, when Wayne Rooney‘s hat trick led the Red Devils to an 8-2 win against Arsenal on Aug. 28, 2011.

Full event encores of the most unforgettable Premier League matches begin this Sunday at 8 a.m. ET on NBCSN with one of the most dramatic days in the history of English football. On May 13, 2012, Manchester City won their first-ever Premier League title thanks to a 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers. Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero scored in second-half stoppage time as City won the title on goal difference over crosstown rivals Manchester United.

A classic Merseyside Derby at 10 a.m. ET features Daniel Sturridge‘s 89th-minute equalizer to earn Liverpool a thrilling 3-3 draw at Everton on Nov. 23, 2013. Then at noon ET on NBCSN, goals from Eden Hazard and Diego Costa led Chelsea to a 2-0 win over London rivals Arsenal in a clash of unbeatens at Stamford Bridge on Oct. 5, 2014.

Saturday’s coverage also includes Premier League Goals of the Season beginning at 8 a.m. ET on NBCSN with highlights from the 2001-02 and 2002-03 seasons, while Sunday kicks off at 6 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Premier League Season in Review, highlighted by the top storylines and action from the 1998-99 and 1999-00 seasons.

This Saturday, April 4, NBC’s Premier League host Rebecca Lowe kicks off a new digital series, “Breakfast with Becks,” where she will react to social media posts from fans. The weekly series will be available across NBC Sports’ social media accounts, including Twitter and Instagram. Each week, Lowe will pose a question for fans, who can answer using the hashtag, #MyPLMorning.  For Saturday’s premiere, Lowe wants to know what fans eat for breakfast.

BEHIND THE BADGE: WATFORD

Originally premiered on Nov. 27, 2016, NBCSN will encore the Hard Knocks-style show, “Premier League Behind the Badge: Watford,” this Saturday beginning at Noon ET. The series follows players, coaches and support staff, recounting their daily lives and routines both on and off the pitch. Narrated by BBC presenter and football legend Gary Lineker, the four-part series provides viewers with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at Watford during the 2016-17 season, highlighted by a home win against then-defending champions Leicester City on Nov. 19, 2016.

SOCCERBOX

On Soccerbox, Manchester United legend Gary Neville sits down with retired Premier League stars to discuss their time in the game and some of the notable matches in which they played against one another. The show kicks off this weekend’s Premier League programming with four consecutive episodes, starting Saturday at 6 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Special guests include: Liverpool legend John Barnes, former Tottenham and Arsenal defender Sol Campbell, Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs, and Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier.

PREMIER LEAGUE “GROUP CHAT” & THE 2 ROBBIES

NBC Sports presents a new slate of podcasts this week featuring two Premier League podcasts. On the latest episode of the Premier League “Group Chat,” hosts Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Kyle Martino, Robbie Mustoe, Arlo White, Lee Dixon and Graeme Le Saux, discuss reports of the Premier League’s potential plans to resume the season, including one which involves “World Cup-style” camps over June and July. Episodes are available through “Premier League on NBC” and “The 2 Robbies” podcast channels. On a new episode of “The 2 Robbies,” hosts Earle and Mustoe welcome former Liverpool and Republic of Ireland international defender, Jim Beglin, to discuss all things Liverpool.

Premier League coverage on NBC and NBCSN will be streamed on NBCSports.com. Coverage will be streamed via “TV Everywhere,” giving consumers additional value for their subscription service, and making high quality content available to MVPD customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms.
