Football Week in America continues tonight with quarterback Tony Romo’s first career start for the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8 of the 2006 season.
Romo, who was signed by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2003, took his first career regular season snap in Week 6 of 2006 and made his first start two weeks later, on October 29, against Carolina. The come-from-behind win kickstarted Romo’s career, as he became the Cowboys starter for the remainder of his career through 2016.
