NBC SPORTS BAY AREA, NBC SPORTS CALIFORNIA ANNOUNCE “CLASSIC GAMES” SCHEDULE

Schedule Features Historic Games from the San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, San Jose Sharks and San Jose Earthquakes

 Classic Games to Air on NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California Weeknights at 8:00 PM

Viewers Can Vote on Twitter to Watch the Game of Their Choice on “Authentic Fan Friday”

Classic Games Marathon to Air Weekends on NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California from 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – March 25, 2020 – NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California have announced their replacement primetime programming from Wednesday, March 25 – through Friday, April 17. The schedule will feature “Classic Games” – an encore presentation of historic games from the San Francisco Giants, Oakland A’s, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, San Jose Sharks and San Jose Earthquakes.

NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California will present a “Classic” game every weeknight at 8:00 PM. In Sacramento, “Classic” Kings games will air at 6:00 PM on NBC Sports California. NOTE: Warriors and Kings broadcast territory restrictions apply.

Each week, viewers will have the opportunity to watch a “Classic” game of their choice by voting on Twitter: @NBCSGiants, @NBCAthletics, @NBCSWarriors and @NBCSSharks. NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California will provide a list of “Classic” games to choose from, and voting will begin each Thursday at 10:00 AM and end at noon on Friday. The game that generates the most votes will air later that evening on “Authentic Fan Friday.”

During weekends, a “Classic” game marathon – eight hours of continuous game coverage – will air on NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California from 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

Games will only be made available to viewers within NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California’s designated viewing territory.
