STAMFORD, Conn. – Feb. 20, 2020 – NBC Sports’ live coverage of the cross-country skiing World Cup continues this weekend with 2018 Olympic team sprint gold medalist Jessie Diggins headlining the women’s field across Sweden and Norway. The inaugural “Ski Tour 2020,” an FIS cross-country skiing event which began in Sweden and ends Sunday in Trondheim, Norway, continues this weekend with the final two stages.

Diggins is currently sixth in the overall women’s standings through Stage 4. Diggins is one of three American women in the top 12 of the Ski Tour standings; Rosie Brennan is ninth, and two-time U.S. Olympian Sadie Maubet Bjornsen is currently 12th.

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, OlympicChannel.com, and NBC Sports Gold have live coverage of both men’s and women’s events throughout the weekend, beginning with the men’s and women’s sprint in Trondheim, Norway, this Saturday at 7 a.m. ET.

On Sunday, the women’s 15km pursuit will be live on NBC Sports Gold and OlympicChannel.com at 5:15 a.m. ET (Noon ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA). OlympicChannel.com and NBC Sports Gold present live coverage of the men’s 30km pursuit on Sunday at 7:20 a.m. ET, while Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA televises the event at 1 p.m. ET.

The Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup finals take place this weekend in Melbourne, Australia, and live coverage will be presented on OlympicChannel.com starting this Saturday at 2 a.m. ET. Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will have coverage of the event later in the day at 7:30 p.m. ET and on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. American Jade Carey is expected to continue her pursuit of an individual 2020 Olympic qualifying spot. Carey is currently atop the World Cup standings on both vault and floor. She is the top qualifier on vault heading into finals.

The men’s alpine skiing World Cup will be held this weekend at Naeba Resort in Yuzawa, Japan, where two-time Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety and Olympian Tommy Ford, who won the giant slalom at Beaver Creek earlier this season, are expected to headline the U.S. men in giant slalom. The women’s alpine skiing World Cup will be held this weekend in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, with downhill and super combined events. Breezy Johnson, who was the top U.S. finisher at the last downhill races in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, is expected to lead the American women. Live downhill coverage begins on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA on Friday at 4 a.m. ET and continues on Saturday at 4:27 a.m. ET. Coverage will be presented on Sunday at 12:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN.

Live World Cup coverage continues on Sunday with the super combined starting at 4:30 a.m. ET on OlympicChannel.com and NBC Sports Gold and the combined slalom at 7:30 a.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

The World Bobsled and Skeleton Championships take place in Altenberg, Germany, this weekend. The women’s team is expected to be led by Kaillie Humphries, a two-time Olympic gold medalist for Canada who obtained U.S. citizenship and began competing for the U.S. team this season.

The 2020 World Biathlon Championships continue this week in Antholz-Anterselva, Italy, and concludes on Sunday, Feb. 23. Earlier today, Susan Dunklee won a silver medal in the 7.5km sprint at the world biathlon championships. After winning a medal earlier in the championships, Dunklee is the first American biathlete to win multiple world medals in their career.

This week’s coverage continues tonight at 1 a.m. ET on NBCSN with the single mixed relay.
