STAMFORD, Conn. – Feb. 13, 2020 – NBC Sports’ live coverage of the cross-country skiing World Cup continues this weekend with 2018 Olympic team sprint gold medalist Jessie Diggins headlining the women’s field in Ostersund, Sweden. This weekend’s World Cup marks the first stage of the inaugural “Ski Tour 2020,” a new FIS cross-country skiing event which begins in Sweden and ends Feb. 23 in Norway. The Ski Tour marks the first time that a cross-country World Cup event crosses international borders, when the racers will move from Sweden to Norway during the event’s fourth stage.

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, OlympicChannel.com, and NBC Sports Gold have live coverage of both men’s and women’s events throughout the weekend, beginning with the men’s 15km event this Saturday, Feb. 15, at 10:10 a.m. ET.

Diggins is joined in the women’s field by two-time U.S. Olympian Sadie Maubet Bjornsen. On Saturday, the women’s 10km will be live on NBC Sports Gold and OlympicChannel.com at 7:15 a.m. ET (11:30 a.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA). The women’s 10km pursuit will be live Sunday at 9:45 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Gold and OlympicChannel.com (1:30 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA).

OlympicChannel.com and NBC Sports Gold will have live coverage of the men’s 15km pursuit on Sunday at 7:45 a.m. ET, while Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will present the event at 12:30 p.m. ET.

This weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah, 2018 Olympic team pursuit bronze medalist Brittany Bowe and two-time mass start world champion Joey Mantia are expected to headline the American contingent in the World Single Distance Speed Skating Championships. Bowe, who has won seven of her past eight World Cup 1000m races dating back to last season, is seeking to defend her 2019 world championship.

NBC Sports Gold has live coverage throughout the weekend, while Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will present coverage Friday night at 1 a.m. ET and Saturday night at 1:30 a.m. ET. Next Wednesday, Feb. 19, NBCSN will present the event at 11:30 p.m. ET.

The freestyle skiing and snowboarding World Cup continues this weekend with multiple Olympians in action in the halfpipe and slopestyle events in Calgary, Alberta, including two-time Olympic gold medalists David Wise in the halfpipe and Jamie Anderson in slopestyle.

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, OlympicChannel.com and NBC Sports Gold present live coverage of the halfpipe event Friday at 8 p.m. ET and the slopestyle event Saturday at 3 p.m. ET. NBCSN has coverage of the slopestyle event at 11 p.m. ET on Saturday.

Moscow will also host a freestyle skiing World Cup aerials event this weekend. OlympicChannel.com and NBC Sports Gold will have live coverage of the aerials Saturday at 10:50 a.m. ET, while Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will air the event at 1 p.m. ET.

World champion Christian Coleman headlines NBC Sports’ live television coverage of the Toyota USATF Indoor Championships. Coleman will run the 60m this weekend, the event in which he set the world record the last time he ran at the U.S. Indoor Championships in 2018. The Championships, which also feature 2016 Rio Olympic medalists Ryan Crouser (shot put) and Sandi Morris (pole vault), will be held at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, N.M. Live TV coverage begins this Friday at 9:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and continues Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on NBC. NBC Sports Gold has extensive live coverage beginning this Friday at 7 p.m. ET. The World Luge Championships take place this weekend in Sochi, Russia. Two-time Olympian Tucker West is expected to lead the American men, while 2019 world bronze medalist Emily Sweeney and Summer Britcher are the top U.S. women.

The bobsled & skeleton World Cup season continues with a stop in Sigulda, Latvia, this weekend. The U.S. will field three women’s and three men’s athletes in the skeleton events. USA Bobsled athletes will not be racing this weekend, opting instead to spend time in Altenberg, Germany to prepare for the upcoming 2020 World Championships.
