Over 15 Hours of Live 2020 World Series of Asphalt Coverage on TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold This Week

STAMFORD, Conn. – Feb. 12, 2020 – NBC Sports continues its coverage of the 2020 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season and heads to the east coast for the first time this season on Saturday from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Defending 450SX Class champion Cooper Webb earned his first win of the season last weekend in San Diego, and jumped into third in the championship standings.

Rounding out the top three finishers in San Diego were Adam Cianciarulo in second and Blake Baggett finishing third. Ken Roczen (130 points) currently holds a slim lead in the championship standings ahead of Eli Tomac (129 points). In the 250SX Class, Dylan Ferrandis (135 points) earned his third win of the season, and remains atop the championship standings.

Veteran play-by-play commentator Ralph Sheheen, five-time Supercross champion and seven-time Motocross champion Ricky Carmichael, host and former racer Daniel Blair, and reporter Will Christien will call the action.

On Sunday, Carmichael will serve as an honorary official for the Daytona 500. As part of his Honorary Race Official duties, Carmichael will be introduced at the drivers’ meeting and participate in pre-race ceremonies. He is a five-time Daytona Supercross champion and is the course designer for this year’s Daytona Supercross event for the 13th consecutive year.

The opening race of the 2020 NASCAR ARCA Menards Series East season, the Skips Western Outfitters 175, from New Smyrna Speedway, will be shown this Friday at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Dave Burns and Parker Kligerman will call the race. All ARCA Menards Series East races are available live and on-demand TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold.

TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold will present over 15 hours of live coverage of the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing this week. Tonight, and continuing nightly at 7:30 p.m. ET through Saturday, four hours of live coverage from New Smyrna Speedway will be available to stream.
