STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 21, 2020 – NBC Sports will surround the 2020 NHL All-Star Weekend with comprehensive live coverage on NBC, NBCSN, NBC Sports Radio, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app, culminating with the 3-on-3 2020 Honda NHL All-Star Game on Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBC from Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Mo.

In addition to live coverage on NBC, NBC Sports will produce a digital-only second-screen presentation on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app showcasing puck and player tracking data that will be presented in real time. The action kicks off on Friday at 8 p.m. ET with live coverage of the 2020 NHL All-Star Skills.

This week’s NHL coverage begins tonight with a clash of in-state rivals, when Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins visit Claude Giroux and the Philadelphia Flyers at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. “The State of Hockey” plays host to Wednesday Night Hockey at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN, when Zach Parise and the Minnesota Wild host Dylan Larkin and the Detroit Red Wings.

2020 HONDA NHL ALL-STAR GAME – SATURDAY AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBC

The 2020 Honda NHL All-Star Game on Saturday night will feature the high-octane 3-on-3 format for the fifth consecutive season, pitting the four divisions (Atlantic, Metropolitan, Central, and Pacific) against each other in a tournament format. The Atlantic and Metropolitan Divisions will face off  and the Central plays the Pacific Division, with the winning teams meeting in a championship game to compete for a $1 million-dollar prize.

The captains for each division are David Pastrnak (Boston Bruins) in the Atlantic, Kris Letang (Pittsburgh Penguins) in the Metropolitan, Nathan MacKinnon (Colorado Avalanche) in the Central, and Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers) in the Pacific.

Seven-time Emmy Award-winner Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick, U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member Eddie Olczyk, and ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analysts Pierre McGuire and Brian Boucher will call the NHL All-Star Game on NBC.

NBC Sports’ live digital-only presentation on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app showcasing puck and player tracking data will highlight elements such as skating speed, shot speed, skating distance and shift times. In addition, graphic identifiers for players and the puck will be utilized as they move on the ice.

Play-by-play commentator Kenny Albert and analyst AJ Mleczko will call NBC Sports’ digital presentation of the All-Star Game on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

In addition, NBC Sports Radio will provide live coverage of the 2020 NHL All-Star Game on Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET. Chris Kerber (play-by-play) will have the call alongside analyst Joe Micheletti and reporter Steve Goldstein.

2020 NHL ALL-STAR SKILLS – FRIDAY AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

NBC Sports’ comprehensive NHL All-Star Weekend coverage begins Friday night at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN with a special 30-minute presentation of the NHL All-Decade Show, immediately followed by pre-game coverage on NHL Live, leading into the 2020 NHL All-Star Skills at 8 p.m. ET.

The 2020 All-Star Skills will feature six events that will showcase the world’s top talent:

  • Elite Women’s 3-on-3 presented by adidas™
  • Bud Light NHL Save Streak™
  • Gatorade NHL Shooting Stars™
  • Enterprise NHL Hardest Shot™

Two events are making their debut – the Gatorade NHL Shooting Stars™ and the Elite Women’s 3-on-3 presented by adidas™.

The Gatorade NHL Shooting Stars™ contest will feature players shooting from an elevated platform in the stands at various targets on the ice. The Elite Women’s 3-on-3 presented by adidas™ will showcase 10 Canadian and 10 American All-Stars facing off in a 20-minute exhibition. The rosters have won a combined 39 Olympic and 108 World Championship medals.

Albert, Olczyk, Boucher, McGuire, Mleczko and Olympic gold medalist Monique Lamoureux-Morando will provide commentary for the All-Star Skills at 8 p.m. ET.

NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming platforms for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs – will provide streaming coverage of NHL All-Star Weekend.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT HOCKEY – RED WINGS-WILD – 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Minnesota (22-21-6, 50 pts) will host the Red Wings on Wednesday in St. Paul where they boast a 13-6-4 home record. The Wild are coming off a 5-4 loss to Florida on Monday. Zach Parise netted his 19th goal of the season in the loss. 35-year-old Eric Staal leads the team in points with 36 and is going to his 6th All-Star Game this weekend.

Detroit (12-34-4, 28 pts) is coming off a 6-3 loss to Colorado. Dylan Larkin (1g/2a) contributed on all three Red Wings goals. Tyler Bertuzzi will make his first career All-Star Game appearance in St. Louis this weekend.

PENGUINS-FLYERS – TONIGHT AT 7:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Pittsburgh (31-13-5, 67 pts) currently sits in second place in the Metropolitan Division following a 4-3 come-from-behind win against the Boston Bruins on Sunday on NBC. Crosby recorded two assists in the comeback and has eight points (3g/5a) in four games since returning from injury. Philadelphia (26-17-6, 58 pts) is coming of a 4-1 win against the Kings, led by a pair of goals from All-Star Travis Konecny.

Gord Miller (play-by-play), Mike Milbury (analyst) and AJ Mleczko (‘Inside-the-Glass’) will have the call from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa. Pre-game coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. ET, hosted by Kathryn Tappen and analysts Keith Jones and Ben Lovejoy.
