STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 7, 2020 – NBC Sports’ coverage of the Premier League returns this weekend as Mohamed Salah and first-place Liverpool visit sixth-place Tottenham on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC and Telemundo, highlighting this weekend’s 10-match slate.
Liverpool have won 11 consecutive Premier League matches; they sit 13 points ahead of second-place Leicester City as they search for their first-ever PL title. Tottenham look to rebound from a 1-0 defeat at Southampton last week. Arlo White and Graeme Le Saux will call the match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
This weekend’s Premier League coverage kicks off on Friday, Jan. 10, with Sheffield United v. West Ham at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN. On Saturday, Premier League Mornings begins the day’s coverage at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by Arsenal visiting Crystal Palace at 7:30 a.m. ET (NBCSN and Universo). Then at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo, Christian Pulisic and fourth-place Chelsea host Burnley at Stamford Bridge. In the Blues’ last game against Burnley, Pulisic scored a hat trick, his first goals for Chelsea.
On Friday’s episode of Inside the Mind, Graeme Le Saux chats with Pulisic ahead of the Burnley match. The interview can be seen on the Premier League on NBC YouTube channel on Friday.
Coverage continues on Sunday, Jan. 12, with a two-hour Premier League Mornings at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by Bournemouth v. Watford at 9 a.m. ET. Next, Manchester City visit Aston Villa at 11:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Telemundo. Third-place Manchester City look for their third consecutive PL victory as they sit one point behind Leicester City in the table.
NBC Sports Gold presents exclusive live coverage of four matches at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday – Everton v. Brighton Hove & Albion; Leicester City v. Southampton; Manchester United v. Norwich City; and Wolverhampton Wanderers v. Newcastle.
Rebecca Lowe hosts Goal Zone, Premier League Mornings, and Premier League Live, joined by former Jamaica National Team player Robbie Earle, and former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe. Former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg will join the studio as a guest throughout the weekend, sharing his thoughts on Video Assistant Referee’s (VAR) first season in the Premier League.
NBCSN SETS NEW YEAR’S DAY VIEWERSHIP MILESTONES FOR PREMIER LEAGUE
Last week’s New Year’s Day Premier League coverage set viewership milestones on NBCSN as Arsenal-Manchester United became NBCSN’s most-watched weekday match ever (721,000 viewers).
NBCSN also delivered the most-watched New Year’s Day Premier League coverage ever, averaging 492,000 viewers across four matches.
PREMIER LEAGUE PICK ‘EM
NBC Sports’ Premier League Pick ‘Em returns this season from the free-to-play NBC Sports Predictor games app. The app, developed with Boom Fantasy, is available in the App Store and Google Play Store, and gives eligible fans the chance to win hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes over the next year.
