STAMFORD, Conn. – Nov. 11, 2019 – Alex Ovechkin, Patrick Kane and Claude Giroux headline the NHL superstars that will be showcased on this week’s Wednesday Night Hockey doubleheader on NBCSN, beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET when the Washington Capitals face the Philadelphia Flyers.
Action will then shift out west when Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks take on Marc-Andre Fleury and the Vegas Golden Knights at 10 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
The week’s NHL schedule on NBCSN kicks off tonight with NHL Veterans Appreciation Night, when Ovechkin and the Metropolitan Division-leading Capitals host Phil Kessel and the Arizona Coyotes at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
Metro Division rivals clash tomorrow night at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, when Artemi Panarin and the New York Rangers host Evgeni Malkin and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Kathryn Tappen will host Wednesday’s coverage on NHL Live alongside analysts Keith Jones and Patrick Sharp and NHL insider Darren Dreger. Tonight’s studio coverage will be hosted by Ahmed Fareed alongside analysts Jones and Anson Carter. Tomorrow night, Paul Burmeister will anchor studio coverage with analysts Jones and Sharp.

On Saturday, the Metropolitan Division-leading Capitals (13-2-3) defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 5-2 and extended their winning streak to six games. Last night, the Flyers defeated the Bruins in a shootout, 3-2, as Sean Couturier recorded two assists in the win.
Play-by-play commentator Kenny Albert, analyst Mike Milbury and ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Brian Boucher will call Capitals-Flyers from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT HOCKEY – BLACKHAWKS-GOLDEN KNIGHTS AT 10 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
The Blackhawks (6-7-4) enter the week following a 5-4 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Sunday. Patrick Kane recorded three points for Chicago and goaltender Robin Lehner made 53 saves. The Golden Knights (9-7-3) most recently lost to the Detroit Red Wings, 3-2, on Sunday.
John Forslund (play-by-play), U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member Eddie Olczyk (analyst) and Pierre McGuire (‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst) will have the call from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
NHL VETERANS APPRECIATION NIGHT TONIGHT – COYOTES-CAPITALS AT 7 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
The Coyotes (9-6-2) most recently fell to the Minnesota Wild 4-3 on Saturday and will look to end their current three-game losing skid. Navy Federal Credit Union is the official partner for tonight’s Veterans’ Day showdown.
John Walton (play-by-play) and Pierre McGuire (‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst) will have the call from Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
TOMORROW – PENGUINS-RANGERS AT 7:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
The Rangers (7-6-2) lost 6-5 in a shootout to the Florida Panthers on Sunday. Artemi Panarin extended his point streak to eight games and increased his season point total to 18.
The Penguins (10-6-1) defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 in a shootout on Saturday and ended a 10-game winless streak against the Blackhawks. Jake Guentzel notched his eighth goal of the season and also scored in the shootout.
Brendan Burke (play-by-play) and Joe Micheletti (analyst) will call the Penguins-Rangers showdown from Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y.
