WEEK 5 PREVIEW

The action continues this weekend in Atlanta with the following matchups:

ATLAS LC (1-3) VS. ARCHERS LC (2-2) – Fri., June 28, at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN

Week 5 kicks off with a Friday night lights battle between the league’s top point-scorer and the top face-off athlete. Through four weeks of play, Archers LC’s Tom Schreiber continues to lead the league in points with 18, while Atlas LC’s Trevor Baptiste has won the most face-offs this season with 66. Atlas LC looks to notch its second win of the season this weekend in Atlanta, while Archers LC hope to improve to a winning record.

CHAOS LC (3-1) VS. CHROME LC (0-4)
– Sat., June 29, at 1 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Gold

Following three wins in four games this season, Chaos LC has emerged as the league’s top offense, led by lead goal scorer Connor Fields (11). In addition to the leading goal scorer, Chaos also possesses the player with the most ground balls (Thomas Kelly, 29) and the goalie with the most saves (Blaze Riorden, 64). Seeking their first win of the season, Chrome LC will look for a spark from attackman Jordan Wolf, widely known as one of the most dangerous dodging attackmen in the sport.

REDWOODS LC (2-2) VS. WHIPSNAKES LC (4-0)
– Sun., June 29, at 4 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Gold

The final game in Atlanta will feature the undefeated Whipsnakes LC taking on the reinvigorated Redwoods LC, who have allowed the fewest points this season. Whipsnakes will look to pick up where they left off last week vs. Atlas LC against the Redwoods defense in Week 5. Redwoods LC and Whipsnakes LC traded assets last week to improve their respective rosters, and Jules Heningburg will suit up this week for the Redwoods against his former team. The Whipsnakes’ defense will be fixed on Heningburg after a PLL record-tying eight-point performance last week.
