STAMFORD, Conn. – May 9, 2019 – The Premier League title will be won on the season’s final day – this Sunday – for the first time in five years as NBCUniversal presents the eagerly-anticipated Championship Sunday. All 10 matches will be presented live simultaneously on NBCUniversal platforms this Sunday, May 12, at 10 a.m. ET. In addition, Telemundo and Universo will each televise one match in Spanish, and all 10 matches will be streamed on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

For the first time since the 2013-14 season, the winners of the Premier League will be decided on Championship Sunday. First-place Manchester City and second-place Liverpool have traded places leading the league 26 times this season, but in the final game for each team, Manchester City hold a one-point lead and will guarantee the title with a win. Liverpool come off a stunning comeback on Tuesday in the Champions League semifinals against Barcelona; now the team aim for their first-ever Premier League title with another victory at Anfield along with a Manchester City loss or draw.

NBCUniversal’s Championship Sunday coverage kicks off Sunday at 8 a.m. ET on NBCSN with a special two-hour Premier League Mornings featuring Rebecca Lowe, Robbie Earle, Kyle Martino, and Robbie Mustoe.

Rebecca Lowe: “We’ve hoped for a title race like this for a number of years, but never did we genuinely think we’d get such a flip-flop, unpredictable, high quality race to the finish. And now we have a final day when – if you look at the last week alone, let alone the whole campaign for these two clubs – there is no way you could predict what will happen Sunday. And that’s just the way we like it!”

Robbie Earle: “When Manchester City and Liverpool have swapped places at the top of the table 26 times so far this season, then you know it’s a special race. That needs a special solution – cue Championship Sunday.”

Kyle Martino: “Whatever is bigger than Super, that’s what this Sunday could be.”

Robbie Mustoe: “The best title race I can remember, down to the wire. These two teams deserve to be called Champions, but only one can. I’m beyond excited for Championship Sunday to see who can hold their nerve.”

NBC Sports’ lead Premier League play-by-play announcer Arlo White calls Liverpool v. Wolverhampton Wanderers on NBC, joined by analyst Graeme Le Saux. Clive Tyldesley calls Brighton & Hove Albion v. Manchester City on NBCSN, joined by analyst Lee Dixon. Lowe, Earle, Martino, and Mustoe will return following the matches for a special two-hour Goal Zone season wrap-up post-game show on NBC and NBCSN at Noon ET, which will include the emotional scenes from around the grounds, the Premier League trophy presentation, key highlights, and interviews from the final day of the season.

Arlo White: “It has been a career highlight to tell the story of this title race to an American audience. It feels like Anfield is the center of the Football universe at the moment, not least because of Liverpool’s incredible comeback against Barcelona in the Champions League.
