STAMFORD, Conn. – April 11, 2019 – NBC Sports continues its first full season as the home of the NTT IndyCar Series this weekend with comprehensive live coverage of the iconic Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach this Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Pre-race coverage on NBCSN begins at 4 p.m. ET.

The first three races of the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series campaign have yielded three different winners. 2017 Indianapolis 500 winner Takuma Sato (Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing) won the pole and took the checkered flag last week at the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park. Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing) recorded his second second-place finish of the season at Barber, while Sebastien Bourdais (Dale Coyne Racing with Vasser-Sullivan) rounded out the podium. California native Alexander Rossi (Andretti Autosport) took the checkered flag at Long Beach last season.

Live INDYCAR coverage from Long Beach begins tomorrow at 1 p.m. ET with Practice 1 exclusively on NBC Sports Gold’s INDYCAR Pass, which will provide live streaming coverage of all practices, qualifying, Indy Lights races and on-demand replays for the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season. Live streaming coverage from Barber continues tomorrow at 5 p.m. ET on INDYCAR Pass with Practice 2, followed by Practice 3 on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET. INDYCAR Pass and NBCSN will have live coverage of qualifying on Saturday at 2:45 p.m. ET, and INDYCAR Pass will have live warmup coverage on Sunday at 12 p.m. ET, leading into race coverage on NBCSN.

NBC Sports’ lead INDYCAR broadcast team of Leigh Diffey (play-by-play), Townsend Bell (analyst), and Paul Tracy (analyst) will have the call of the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, including practices and qualifying on NBC Sports Gold’s INDYCAR Pass. Marty Snider, Kevin Lee, Kelli Stavast and Robin Miller will provide reports from the pits. Additionally, NBC Sports’ Krista Voda will serve as a host for NBC Sports’ extended coverage on Saturday spanning INDYCAR and IMSA on NBCSN.

IMSA WEATHERTECH CHAMPIONSHIP GRAND PRIX OF LONG BEACH – SATURDAY AT 4:30 P.M. ET FOLLOWING LIVE INDYCAR QUALIFYING

NBC Sports presents live coverage of the IMSA WeatherTech Championship Grand Prix of Long Beach this Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, immediately following live coverage of INDYCAR qualifying from Long Beach. Team Penske’s Juan Pablo Montoya and Helio Castroneves headline the group of drivers competing in the DPi class, which features 11 entries, while the GTLM class will feature eight entries. In addition, Sebastien Bourdais will handle double-duty this weekend, competing in the IMSA event on Saturday ahead of the INDYCAR race on Sunday.

NBC Sports’ lead IMSA commentary team of Leigh Diffey, Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver A.J. Allmendinger (analyst) and former IMSA GT driver Calvin Fish (analyst) will call the action, along with pit reporters Dave Burns and Jon Beekhuis.

MONSTER ENERGY SUPERCROSS FROM DENVER – SATURDAY ON NBC SPORTS GOLD SUPERCROSS PASS AND NBCSN

NBC Sports continues its coverage of the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross season this weekend from Broncos Stadium at Mile High in Denver, Colo. Eli Tomac registered his fourth win of the season in the 450SX Class last weekend in Nashville. Cooper Webb leads Marvin Musquin by 21 points in the 450SX Class standings with three races remaining in the season. The 250SX West title race continues this week with Adam Ciancarulo holding a five-point lead over Dylan Ferrandis, who is coming off back-to-back wins in Seattle and Houston. Live race coverage will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Gold and at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Ralph Sheheen, five-time Supercross champion and seven-time Motocross champion Ricky Carmichael, host and former racer Daniel Blair, and reporter Will Christien will call the action.

2019 INDYCAR SEASON ON NBC AND NBCSN

NBC Sports’ coverage of the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series began earlier this year with the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, the first of 17 races to air on NBC and NBCSN during the season.

The 103rd Running of the Indianapolis 500, set for Sunday, May 26, 2019, will be the first ever on NBC. The Indy 500 will also be included in NBC Sports’ Championship Season marketing campaign, which touts numerous high-profile championship events that are presented across NBC Sports platforms from May to July, including the Triple Crown, The PLAYERS, Premier League Championship Sunday, French Open, Stanley Cup Final, Tour de France, and The Open Championship.

INDYCAR coverage on NBC will begin with the Grand Prix of Indianapolis on Saturday, May 11. Following the Indy 500, NBC will present the Detroit Grand Prix doubleheader on the weekend of June 1-2, followed by races at Road America on Sunday, June 23 and Mid-Ohio on Sunday, July 28. The 2019 NTT IndyCar Series championship will be decided on NBC, with the season’s penultimate race in Portland on Sunday, Sept. 1, followed by season finale at Laguna Seca on Sunday, Sept. 22.
