First, it’s defending champions Manchester City (in second place) visiting Crystal Palace at 9:05 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo. Then, 1st-place Liverpool, two points ahead in the table and aiming to secure their first-ever Premier League title, host 3rd-place Chelsea at 11:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Telemundo. Chelsea are in a tight race for the top-4, currently leading a group of four clubs separated by five points for two positions. Arlo White and Lee Dixon will call the match from Anfield.

Weekend coverage begins on Saturday, April 13 at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Mornings, followed by 4th-place Tottenham v. Huddersfield on NBCSN and Universo. Only three points separate Tottenham and 6th-place Manchester United, as the race to the finish in the top-4 heats up.

NEW EPISODES OF “IN THE SHADOW OF THE KOP” SERIES

NBC Sports recently debuted the extensive multiplatform series “In the Shadow of The Kop,” across NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app and NBC Sports’ YouTube channel. NBCSN presents the first linear episode of the series on Friday, April 12 at 5:30 p.m. ET. Hosted by Roger Bennett of THE MEN IN BLAZERS, the first 30-minute episode of “In the Shadow of The Kop” explains the inextricable link between Liverpool Football Club and the city it calls home. Bennett discusses the club’s unique connection to its supporters with fans, journalists, former players and club officials, and explains the history behind their world-famous anthem, You’ll Never Walk Alone. The film also details Liverpool’s unprecedented run of excellence from 1963-1990 while introducing the legendary characters, including manager Bill Shankly and star striker turned player-manager Kenny Dalglish.

In addition, new episodes are available every Tuesday and Thursday at 8 p.m. ET for the next two weeks on NBC Sports’ YouTube channel. On Tuesday’s episode, former midfielder Steve McManaman joins Bennett to discuss his days coming through the Liverpool youth ranks under Kenny Dalglish and the excitement surrounding this season’s title race. This Thursday, Ep. 10: Faces in the Crowd debuts. In this episode, Bennett interviews Tage Herstad, a Norwegian-born Liverpool superfan who moved to England to live closer to his favorite football club. Herstad opened The Hotel TIA (‘This is Anfield’) in the shadow of Anfield, which boasts a variety of Liverpool related memorabilia.

All episodes are available on NBC Sports’ YouTube Channel.
