STAMFORD, Conn. – April 4, 2019 – Team USA gymnasts Morgan Hurd, the 2017 world all-around champion, and Sam Mikulak, the 2018 world high bar bronze medalist, headline coverage of the gymnastics all-around World Cup this weekend from Tokyo, Japan, highlighting dozens of hours of Olympic sports programming across numerous NBC Sports platforms.

Hurd is a five-time world medalist and is currently considered the top U.S. all-around gymnast behind teammate Simone Biles. Mikulak, a two-time Olympian, earned his first individual medal at a world championships last fall on high bar. He is a five-time U.S. all-around champion.

Live streaming of the gymnastics World Cup begins on Saturday, April 6 with the women’s individual all-around at 10:15 p.m. ET and the men’s individual all-around at 1 a.m. ET on OlympicChannel.com. TV coverage begins on Sunday, April 7, with the women’s individual all-around at 10:30 a.m. ET and the men’s individual all-around at noon ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

WORLD MEN’S CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP – LETHBRIDGE, ALBERTA

LIVE TV COVERAGE CONTINUES TONIGHT AT 9 P.M. ET ON OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA

PyeongChang Olympic gold medalist John Shuster continues to headline NBC Sports’ live coverage of the World Men’s Curling Championship this week from Lethbridge, Alberta.

Shuster, along with his PyeongChang teammates Matt Hamilton and John Landsteiner, are currently tied for fifth in the standings with a 6-3 record.  The U.S. returns to competition tonight at 9 p.m. ET against Japan at 9 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

On Friday, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA presents live coverage of Sweden vs. USA at 11 a.m. and NBCSN presents live coverage of USA vs. Norway at 9 p.m. ET. In addition, NBCSN presents coverage of the semifinals on Saturday, April 6 at Midnight ET. On Sunday, April 7, live coverage of the gold medal game begins at 7 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA; NBCSN presents coverage of the gold medal game at 10:30 p.m. ET.

SPORT CLIMBING WORLD CUP – MEIRINGEN, SWITZERLAND

OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA PRESENTS COVERAGE SATURDAY, APRIL 6 AT 7 P.M. ET

The 2019 sport climbing World Cup begins with a bouldering competition in Meiringen, Switzerland. Sport climbing will make its Olympic debut next summer in Tokyo, where the competition will feature a combination of all three disciplines: bouldering, speed and lead. Kyra Condie is the top-ranked American in the women’s bouldering world rankings. 17-year old Ashima Shiraishi, the top U.S. ranked lead climber, is also expected to compete in Switzerland.

RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS WORLD CUP – PESARO, ITALY

OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA PRESENTS COVERAGE SATURDAY, APRIL 6 AT 5 P.M. ET

The gymnastics World Cup series continues with a rhythmic competition in Pesaro, Italy. 2018 world all-around finalist Evita Griskenas and 2018 Pan American team champion Lili Mizuno are expected to lead the Americans.

SNOW VOLLEYBALL WORLD TOUR – KRONPLATZ, ITALY

TV COVERAGE BEGINS SUNDAY, APRIL 7 AT 10 P.M. ET ON OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA

The inaugural FIVB Snow Volleyball World Tour continues in Kronplatz, Italy this weekend. OlympicChannel.com will provide live exclusive coverage of the FIVB Snow Volleyball World Tour in Italy, starting Friday, April 5 at 3:30 a.m. ET and continuing Saturday, April 6 at 3:30 a.m. ET and Sunday, April 7 at 4:30 a.m. ET. Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA presents TV coverage of the semifinals and finals on Sunday at 10 p.m. ET.

Matches will be played to a standard best of three sets, 15 points and a two-point lead, and teams will feature three players plus one substitute. Soccer cleats are typically used when playing snow volleyball to help provide grip on the snow and prevent sliding. Americans Karissa Cook, Katie Spieler, Allie Wheeler and Emily Hartong, who finished second in the first stop of the World Tour last week in Austria, will again compete.
