STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 15, 2019 – NBC Sports presents more than 20 hours of coverage of motorsports coverage this week on NBCSN, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app, highlighted by Monster Energy Supercross action from Anaheim, Calif., the IMSA Prototype Challenge at Daytona, and the conclusion of the 2019 Dakar Rally in Peru.

MONSTER ENERGY SUPERCROSS – ANAHEIM

NBC Sports continues its inaugural season of Monster Energy Supercross coverage this weekend from Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. Blake Baggett earned his first career Supercross 450 win last Saturday in Glendale, while Adam Cianciarulo cruised to victory in the Supercross 250 event. This weekend’s race will be shown live on Saturday at 10 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Gold, and will air on NBCSN on Saturday at 11 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Gold – NBC Sports Digital’s direct-to-consumer live streaming product – presents comprehensive coverage of Supercross qualifiers and main event races live and without commercial interruption throughout the 2019 season. This weekend’s coverage on NBC Sports Gold begins Saturday at 4 p.m. ET with the first qualifying sessions.

Ralph Sheheen, five-time Supercross champion and seven-time Motocross champion Ricky Carmichael, host and former racer Daniel Blair, and reporter Will Christien will call the action. In addition, NBC Sports’ INDYCAR and IMSA analyst Townsend Bell will be a guest on the telecast, looking ahead to next weekend’s Rolex 24 at DAYTONA on NBCSN.

IMSA PROTOTYPE CHALLENGE – DAYTONA

NBC Sports begins its inaugural season of the IMSA Challenge and Single-Make series this week with coverage of the IMSA Prototype Challenge race from Daytona International Speedway today at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The race was held at Daytona on Saturday, Jan. 5. NBC Sports will present more than 100 exclusive hours of coverage during the 2019 IMSA season, including the 57th Rolex 24 at DAYTONA on Saturday, Jan. 26.

DAKAR RALLY

NBC Sports continues its coverage of the 2019 Dakar Rally – the world’s most challenging off-road endurance race – this week on NBCSN, as nearly 500 competitors traverse more than thousands of miles and various terrain. The entire event is being held in Peru and will challenge drivers in five different classes – bike, quad, car, side by side, and truck. Leigh Diffey will call the action.
