STAMFORD, Conn. – October 30, 2018 P.K. Subban and the Western Conference-leading Nashville Predators look to continue their early-season surge when they host Marc-André Fleury and the defending Western Conference champion Vegas Golden Knights at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Pre-game coverage begins with NHL Live at 7 p.m. ET.

This week’s NHL coverage on NBCSN continues with a special Thursday afternoon tilt at 2 p.m. ET live from Helsinki, Finland, as the Winnipeg Jets, led by Finnish forward Patrik Laine, battle the Florida Panthers and fellow Fin Aleksander Barkov, as part of the NHL’s Global Series.

Kathryn Tappen will host Tuesday’s coverage on NHL Live alongside analysts Jeremy Roenick and Brian Boucher, while Paul Burmeister, Anson Carter and Roenick will be in-studio on Thursday.

GOLDEN KNIGHTS-PREDATORS TUESDAY AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBSCN

Led by Filip Forsberg, who paces the Predators with 14 points and 10 goals, Nashville is tied for the league lead with 16 points. The Predators rank tied for sixth in goals for (38), and have allowed only 28 goals through 11 games. Forsberg is tied for second in the NHL in goals, a season after he tied a career-high in points (64) despite missing 15 games.

The Golden Knights have won four of their last six games, including a 4-3 overtime win against the Ottawa Senators on Sunday. Alex Tuch scored twice in the victory and Jonathan Marchessault netted the game-winner in extra time to lift Vegas past Ottawa. Marchessault leads the Golden Knights in both points (11) and goals (six).

Dave Goucher (play-by-play) and Pierre McGuire (‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst) will call Golden Knights-Predators from Bridgestone Arena.

NHL GLOBAL SERIES JETS-PANTHERS THURSDAY AT 2 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Winnipeg and Florida begin a two-game series in Helsinki, Finland, on Thursday as part of the NHL’s Global Series, as a pair of Finnish stars, Laine and Barkov, will get to play in front of their home country.

Thursday’s contest marks the start of a six-game road trip for the Jets, who split their previous two games. Mark Scheifele paces the team with 12 points, and is tied for the team lead with six goals. The Panthers split their last two games, including a narrow 3-2 loss to the Devils on Saturday. Evgenii Dadonov leads Florida with 10 points.

John Walton (play-by-play) and McGuire (analyst) will have the call of Jets-Panthers.

COLLEGE HOCKEY – NO. 5 NOTRE DAME FIGHTING IRISH HOST NO. 7 OHIO STATE BUCKEYES SATURDAY AT 7:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

The Fighting Irish (3-2-1) enter this weekend’s series against the Buckeyes following a pair of losses last weekend to the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs in a rematch of last year’s national championship game. Ohio State (3-2-1) is coming off of a home-and-home series with Bowling Green – the Buckeyes lost the first matchup at home, 8-2, followed by a 2-2 tie at Bowling Green.

The first matchup of the series between Notre Dame and Ohio State will take place on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET. NBC Sports Regional Networks will present live coverage of Friday’s matchup on NBC Sports Chicago+, NBC Sports Philadelphia+, and SNY. NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app will stream both matchups.

Steve Schlanger (play-by-play) and Anson Carter (analyst) will call Saturday’s matchup on NBCSN from the Compton Family Ice Arena in South Bend, Ind.
