Live Premier League Coverage Begins with three-hour Premier League Live: Transfer Deadline Day show Thursday, August 9, live at 11 a.m. ET on NBCSN
STAMFORD, Conn. – July 11, 2018 – With just 30 days until kickoff of the 2018-19 Premier League season, NBC Sports Group today released its television schedule for the first two months of the season. The schedule features live coverage of all matches beginning Friday, August 10, at 2 p.m. ET on NBCSN with Premier League Live followed by Manchester United v. Leicester City at 3 p.m. ET.
NBCSN presents a special, three-hour Premier League Live: Transfer Deadline Day show Thursday, August 9, live at 11 a.m. ET. The program will surround the end of the summer transfer window, which closes at Noon ET that Thursday, as the team analyzes all 20 clubs’ transfer activity.
Rebecca Lowe hosts the program, joined by former Jamaica National Team player Robbie Earle, former Major League Soccer and U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Kyle Martino, and former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe. The show will be streamed on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.
In addition, THE MEN IN BLAZERS SHOW hosted by Roger Bennett and Michael Davies makes its season premiere Thursday, August 9, at 2 p.m. ET.
The networks of NBCUniversal will present at least five games each week in the season’s first two months on NBC, NBCSN, and CNBC, with all games preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn.
In addition, matches will be telecast in Spanish each week by Telemundo and Universo, and will also be streamed on the Telemundo Deportes En Vivo app for mobile devices.
Premier League games on NBC, NBCSN and CNBC will be streamed on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app — NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs. Coverage will be streamed via “TV Everywhere,” giving consumers additional value to for their subscription service, and making high quality content available to MVPD customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms. The NBC Sports app is powered by Playmaker Media and available on the iTunes App Store, Google Play, Windows Store, Roku Channel Store, Apple TV and Amazon Fire.
All remaining Premier League matches will be made available on NBC Sports Gold — NBC Sports Digital’s direct-to-consumer live streaming product — “Premier League Pass.” Details on NBC Sports Gold’s “Premier League Pass” offering for the upcoming season will be announced shortly.
With the 2018 FIFA World Cup wrapping up this weekend, there are currently more Premier League players represented than any other professional league, as 41 players from the four semifinalists played in the Premier League last season. The 41 players were members of 11 different clubs:

Highlights From August-September Premier League Schedule
Wolverhampton Wanderers, Cardiff City and Fulham join as the promoted clubs for the 2018-19 season. Wolves will play in English football’s top flight for the first time since the 2011-12 season, while Cardiff and Fulham were last in the Premier League in 2013-14. Week 1 - Friday, August 10, 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN:
MANCHESTER UNITED v. LEICESTER CITY
The 2018-19 Premier League season kicks off with Friday night football, as Manchester United host Leicester City at Old Trafford. Man United – entering their third season under manager Jose Mourinho – are still in search of their first Premier League title since 2012-13, the club’s final season under legendary boss Sir Alex Ferguson. The Red Devils are expected to be led once again by international superstars David De Gea, Paul Pogba, Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku, who led the club with 16 Premier League goals last season. Meanwhile, Leicester City, led by forward Jamie Vardy (20 goals last season, fourth-most in PL), will be looking to improve upon last season’s ninth-place finish.

ARSENAL v. MANCHESTER CITY
In an early must-see matchup of Premier League powers, reigning champions Manchester City will open up their title defense when they visit Arsenal and new boss Unai Emery. Man City broke every notable Premier League record last season – including points, wins, goals, goal difference and title-winning margin – en route to their third title in the last seven seasons. This season, Pep Guardiola’s men will look to become the first club to win back-to-back titles since Manchester United won three straight from 2007-09. After nearly 22 years under Arsene Wenger, Arsenal will begin a new era under new head coach Emery. The Gunners are coming off a sixth-place finish last season, their lowest finish since 1994-95.

CHELSEA v. ARSENAL
London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal will get together at Stamford Bridge on the second Saturday of the season. After finishing outside of the Champions League qualifying positions last season, both clubs will now be looking to finish in the top-four once again. Chelsea are coming off a particularly disappointing campaign – after winning the Premier League title in 2016-17, the Blues won just seven of their 17 Premier League matches in calendar year 2018 to finish fifth.
Week 3 – Monday, August 27, 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN:
MANCHESTER UNITED v. TOTTENHAM
Harry Kane and Tottenham will face their first true test of the season when they visit Manchester United. Spurs will be returning their young core of Kane (30 goals last season, second-most in PL), Dele Alli and Heung-Min Son, as they look for their first-ever Premier League title.
Week 5 – Saturday, September 15, 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN:
TOTTENHAM v. LIVERPOOL
After opening up the season with three away matches and a “home” game at Wembley Stadium, Tottenham are expected to open up their state-of-the-art, 62,000-seat stadium on September 15 against Liverpool. Spurs spent last season at Wembley after moving out of White Hart Lane – their home for 118 years – in the summer of 2017. Liverpool and 2017-18 Premier League Golden Boot winner Mohamed Salah (32 PL goals) – who are coming off a fourth-place finish and a Champions League Final appearance – will be looking to play spoiler in north London.
