Last weekend’s Chevrolet Dual in Detroit at Belle Isle was highlighted by a breakthrough performance by Ryan Hunter-Reay (Andretti Autosport), who earned second place in Saturday’s race before halting his 42-race winless streak with a win in Dual 2 on Sunday. Hunter-Reay now sits in fourth place in the championship, just 41 points behind Will Power (Team Penske), who won this year’s Indianapolis 500 and finished second in Detroit on Sunday.

Power won last year’s event at Texas Motor Speedway, leading 180 of the 240 laps. Six different drivers have won the past six years in Texas, including Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing) and Graham Rahal (Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing).
