NBC Sports’ Coverage of 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Season Begins Saturday at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 14, 2018 – NBC Sports’ coverage of the 2018 Mecum Auctions season rolls into Indianapolis, Ind., this weekend with more than 25 hours of coverage of the Spring Classic on NBCSN, including 14 hours of live coverage, beginning Wednesday, May 16, at 12 p.m. ET from the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app — NBC Sports Group’s live streaming platforms for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs — will provide streaming coverage this weekend’s Mecum Auctions coverage from Indianapolis.

In addition, NBC Sports and NBC Sports Gold – NBC Sports Digital’s direct-to-consumer live streaming product – will combine to present coverage of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship season beginning this Saturday, May 19, with the Hangtown Motocross Classic from Sacramento, Calif.

NBC SPORTS PRESENTS MORE THAN 25 HOURS OF COVERAGE OF MECUM AUCTIONS: INDIANAPOLIS BEGINNING WEDNESDAY AT NOON ET ON NBCSN

In its 31^st consecutive year, the Spring Classic will showcase an estimated 2,000 cars from across 49 states, including nearly 30 private collections, highlighted by the collections of five-time World Series champion Reggie Jackson and four-time Super Bowl champion and current Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri.

The auction block will feature an array of Corvette models, including a 1967 L88 Coupe and “Big Tank” models, and a set of Keith Busse’s Corvette Indianapolis 500 Pace Car editions. Prominent vehicles from the Jim Street Estate Collection will also be on display, including The Golden Sahara and Kookie’s Kar.

Coverage begins on Wednesday and Thursday at noon ET on NBCSN with a pair of live 4.5-hour blocks of live auction action from Indianapolis. Coverage continues on Friday at noon ET with a three-hour live window on NBCSN, followed by Saturday’s telecast windows at 12:30 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. ET, and Sunday’s windows at 4 p.m. ET and 8:30 p.m. ET.

Scott Hoke will host NBCSN’s Mecum Auctions coverage on-site in Indianapolis alongside analysts John Kraman, Stephen Cox, Bill Stephens and reporter Katie Osborne. Mecum Auctions is led by Dana Mecum, Founder and President of Mecum Auctions for the past 30 years.

LUCAS OIL PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP

The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, features the world’s fastest outdoor motocross racers, racing aboard the best bikes each factory offers, on the roughest, toughest tracks in the world. The 12-rounds series begins at Hangtown in May and ends at Indiana’s Ironman Raceway in August. It includes stops at the premier motocross racing facilities in America, with events in California, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Michigan, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington, New York and Indiana.
