NBC Sports Chicago’s seven-game spring training telecast schedule (five White Sox and two Cubs) gets started in a big way as viewers can kick off St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a Cubs at White Sox “Crosstown” battle on Friday, March 16 at 3:00 PM CT live from Camelback Ranch in Glendale, AZ, featuring White Sox announcers Jason Benetti and Steve Stone. On Sunday, March 18 at 3:00 PM CT, the network will carry its first Cubs spring training telecast as the northsiders will face their 2016 World Series opponent – the Cleveland Indians – in a special telecast taking place live from Las Vegas, NV, featuring the Cubs announcing tandem of Len Kasper and Jim Deshaies. Additional White Sox opponents on this year’s spring training schedule include Arizona (Mar. 19), Texas (Mar. 20), San Diego (Mar. 21), and Milwaukee (Mar. 25), while the Cubs will take on Colorado in the network’s additional spring telecast on Mar. 24.
