STAMFORD, Conn.February 1, 2018 – NBC Sports presents coverage of Super Bowl LII this Sunday, Feb. 4, as Nick Foles and the NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles take on Tom Brady and the AFC champion New England Patriots at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn. Super Bowl Sunday coverage begins at Noon ET on NBC as NBC Sports previews the game with a comprehensive six-hour Super Bowl LII Pre-Game Show.

Philadelphia, which completed a “worst-to-first” turnaround, advanced to its third Super Bowl in franchise history after defeating the No. 2 seed Minnesota Vikings 38-7 in the NFC Championship Game. Foles, who is the only quarterback in NFL history to record a 100+ passer rating in each of his first three career postseason starts, looks to lead the Eagles to the team’s first Super Bowl title.

The defending Super Bowl champion Patriots defeated the No. 3 seed Jacksonville Jaguars 24-20 in the AFC Championship Game to advance to an NFL-record 10th Super Bowl. Brady, who is the all-time leader in Super Bowl passing yards (2,071), completions (207), passing attempts (309) and touchdown passes (15), will make his NFL-record eighth career Super Bowl start. Brady and head coach Bill Belichick aim to expand on their NFL-record five Super Bowl wins together, the most by any head coach and quarterback duo, with back-to-back Super Bowl victories for the second time in franchise history (XXXVIII and XXXIX).

Super Bowl LII marks a rematch of Super Bowl XXXIX when New England defeated Philadelphia 24-21 on February 6, 2005, in Jacksonville.

Seven-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his record 32nd season as the voice of the NFL’s premier primetime package, and 16-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth (analyst), who played in two Super Bowls as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals, will be in the booth, with two-time Emmy Award-winning reporter Michele Tafoya on the sideline for television’s most-watched show of the year. This marks the 10th Super Bowl assignment for Michaels, and the fourth for both Collinsworth and Tafoya.

NBC’s coverage of Super Bowl LII is led by Sunday Night Football executive producer Fred Gaudelli and SNF director Drew Esocoff.
