ING Recognizes Tupper for Business Acumen and Ability of Revolution Golf to Connect Golfers with Expert Instruction and Quality Products

ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 22, 2018) – Recognized for founding and building golf’s largest direct-to-consumer digital platform, Revolution Golf CEO Justin Tupper has been nominated for an Industry Honors award, which will presented by the International Network of Golf (ING) at its 24th annual ceremony on Jan. 25 at the PGA Merchandise Show.

Revolution Golf was acquired by Golf Channel in August 2017 and integrated into NBC Sports’ digital portfolio of golf lifestyle products, amplifying progressive e-commerce opportunities and offering unique content to more golfers around the globe.

Outstanding achievement in golf forms the basis for all Industry Honors given annually by ING, a non-profit, media-based networking organization whose mission is to enhance and promote communication and education in golf. Tupper is one of three final nominees in the category of “Business Achievement.”

Tupper started producing instructional videos on DVDs in 2009, running the business out of his house. Over the next eight years, Revolution Golf invested more than $25 million in advertising to build what is now one of the largest and most-engaged audiences in all of golf. Video-based instruction forms the core of Revolution Golf with elite instructors Cameron McCormick, Martin Chuck, Sean Foley, Martin Hall, Jim McLean and Andrew Rice featured on the platform. Subsequently, the company launched a premium subscription offering (RG+) for which members can access a library of exclusive video content, special offers on training aids, equipment, and exclusive, member-only events.

Revolution Golf also was included as a co-finalist in the “Digital Marketing” category with the golf training aid called the Most Important Stretch in Golf. The MISIG was featured on Revolution Golf for the first time in August 2017 and sold out nearly 1,600 units in only 14 days, creating awareness for the product that helped increase sales on the MISIG website by 200 percent.
