STAMFORD, Conn.November 16, 2017 – NBC Sports Group surrounds the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup and XFINITY Series Championships, with more than 22 hours of trackside coverage from Homestead Miami Speedway, in Homestead, Fla. Race coverage from “The Sunshine State” begins Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, with the XFINITY Series Championship, and is highlighted by Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Championship at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.

As part of NBC Sports Group’s coverage of NASCAR’s Championship Weekend, NBC and NBCSN will celebrate Dale Earnhardt Jr.‘s final race with exclusive interviews and spotlight coverage of NASCAR’s most iconic driver of his era. 28-time Emmy Award winner, Bob Costas will host Sunday’s pre-race coverage on NBC. Costas will interview Dale Earnhardt Jr. live before he climbs into his car for the final Cup series race of his career.

In addition to NBC’s live broadcast on NBC, NBC Sports Group will once again deliver live multi-network coverage of Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Championship via NBCSN’s Hot Pass telecast. As a complement to NBC’s primary broadcast of the NASCAR Cup Series Championship race from Homestead-Miami Speedway, NBCSN’s Hot Pass telecast will offer simultaneous live coverage dedicated to each of the Championship 4 drivers, as well as Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Following a thrilling finish last Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway, Brad Keselowski clinched his spot in the Championship 4, joining Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, and Martin Truex Jr. as the fourth and final driver set to compete in the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Championship.

In addition to live television coverage, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs – will provide comprehensive streaming coverage of this weekend’s NASCAR action.

MONSTER ENERGY NASCAR CUP SERIES RACING FROM MIAMI – SUNDAY AT 3 P.M. ET ON NBC

NBC Sports Group kicks off its Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series coverage from Homestead-Miami Speedway this Friday at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, with first practice, followed by NASCAR America at 2 p.m. ET Coverage on NBCSN continues at 6 p.m. ET with qualifying.

Saturday’s coverage begins at 10 a.m. ET on CNBC with second practice, followed by NASCAR America at 12:30 p.m. ET. Final practice begins at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN, and wraps up the day with NASCAR America at 2 p.m. ET.

Sunday’s race day coverage begins with NASCAR America at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBC, followed by Countdown to Green at 2 p.m. ET. NASCAR Cup Series racing begins at 3 p.m. ET on NBC. Live on-site post-race coverage will follow the conclusion of Sunday’s race. NBCSN wraps up coverage at 8 p.m. ET, with Victory Lap, NBC Sports Group’s NASCAR post-race show.

Pre-race coverage includes a special feature on Dale Earnhardt, Jr, told through the voices of his fans, and tied together through a voiceover by NBC’s This is Us actor Justin Hartley.

Lead NASCAR on NBC race announcer Rick Allen (@RickAllenracing) will call the action alongside Daytona 500 winning crew chief Steve Letarte (@SteveLetarte), and “The Mayor” of NASCAR Jeff Burton (@JeffBurton).

Krista Voda (@KristaVoda) will join Costas to host pre-race coverage alongside auto racing icon Kyle Petty (@KylePetty), and Hall of Fame driver Dale Jarrett (@DaleJarrett).
