NBCSN TO PRESENT HOT PASS COVERAGE THIS SUNDAY, AS COMPLEMENT TO NBC’S PRESENTATION OF 2017 MONSTER ENERGY NASCAR CUP SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP

NBCSN’s Hot Pass Telecast to Feature Spotlight Coverage of Championship 4 Drivers & Dale Earnhardt Jr.

 

Leigh Diffey and Dale Jarrett Host Hot Pass Telecast, This Sunday, November 19 at 3 p.m. ET

STAMFORD, Conn. – November 15, 2017 – NBC Sports Group will once again deliver multi-network coverage of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Championship, this Sunday, November 19 at 3 p.m. ET on NBC, NBCSN, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

 

As a complement to NBC’s primary broadcast of the NASCAR Cup Series Championship race from Homestead-Miami Speedway, NBCSN’s Hot Pass telecast will offer simultaneous live coverage dedicated to each of the Championship 4 drivers, as well as Dale Earnhardt Jr.

 

NBCSN’s multi-window telecast will provide viewers with an in-depth look at Brad Keselowski, Martin Truex Jr., Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch as they battle for the 2017 Monster Energy Cup Series title. On-air graphics will highlight the point differentials and field changes between the four drivers, while a pane of race facts and figures give viewers up to the minute statistics about the race. In addition, a special fifth Hot Pass window will showcase Earnhardt Jr. during his final race as a full-time Cup Series driver.

 

NBC Sports Group motorsports announcer Leigh Diffey (@leighdiffey) will call the race on NBCSN, alongside analyst and Hall of Fame driver Dale Jarrett (@DaleJarrett).

 

In addition to live television coverage, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app will provide live streaming coverage of NBC’s broadcast as well as NBCSN’s Hot Pass presentation. NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app will also feature an alternative camera designated to Daniel Suárez and the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota.

Race coverage from “The Sunshine State” begins Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, with the XFINITY Series Championship, and is highlighted by Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Championship at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.
