STAMFORD, Conn. – October 4, 2017 – This week’s coverage on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA – a partnership between the International Olympic Committee, the United States Olympic Committee, and NBCUniversal – is highlighted by live coverage of the 2017 World Gymnastics Championships beginning tomorrow, October 5, at 7 p.m. ET with the men’s all-around final, followed by live coverage of the women’s all-around final this Friday, October 6, at 7 p.m. ET.

This week’s coverage also features the second event of the ISU Short Track World Cup season from Dordrecht, Netherlands, beginning on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET. Led by three-time Olympic medalist J.R Celski, 2014 Olympian Jessica Kooreman and 2010 Olympic bronze medalist Lana Gehring, the American team will be competing for Olympic qualification spots.

In addition, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will conclude its presentation of “Gymnastics Gold Week.” “Gold Week” archival programming continues through tonight, highlighting many iconic Olympic moments, including seven individual all-around medals (four gold) and seven team medals (three gold) won by U.S. women across eight Olympics.

2017 WORLD GYMNASTICS CHAMPIONSHIPS – BEGINNING THURSDAY AT 7 P.M. ET

Live coverage of the 2017 World Gymnastics Championships this week from Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Canada, begins tomorrow, October 5, at 7 p.m. ET with the live men’s all-around final on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. Coverage continues with the live women’s all-around final this Friday, October 6, at 7 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA coverage continues with the first day of apparatus finals Saturday at 5 p.m. ET, and wraps up on Sunday with live coverage of the second day of apparatus finals at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will air an encore presentation of the second day of apparatus finals Sunday at 7 p.m. ET.

2016 Rio alternate Ragan Smith, 2016 Olympic pommel horse bronze medalist Alex Naddour, and reigning U.S. all-around and floor champion Yul Moldauer headline the American team. Japan’s Kohei Uchimura, who had won the all-around at every Olympics or World Championships since 2009, will not defend his title after suffering an ankle injury during qualification.

Three-time Olympian John Roethlisberger calls the action joined by Olympic gold medalist Tim Daggett and 2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin.


“GYMNASTICS GOLD WEEK” CONTINUES TODAY AT 2 P.M. ET

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA continues its presentation of “Gymnastics Gold Week,” tonight, which includes 30 hours of archival women’s gymnastics action from eight different Olympic Games, and continues with the 2017 World Gymnastics Championships October 5-8. “Gymnastics Gold Week” features the greatest assemblage of Olympic gymnastics programming ever seen on a single network in the United States.

“Gold Week” programming highlights many iconic Olympic moments, including seven individual all-around medals (four gold) and seven team medals (three gold) won by U.S. women across the eight Olympics. Archival coverage continues today with the 2008 Beijing Olympics women’s individual all-around at 2 p.m. ET, and continues through 9:30 p.m. ET with the women’s individual all-around competition from the 2016 Rio Olympics.


ISU SHORT TRACK WORLD CUP – BEGINNING SATURDAY AT 3 P.M. ET

Coverage of the ISU Short Track World Cup season continues on the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA this Saturday, October 7, at 3 p.m. ET with the second stop of the season in Dordrecht, Netherlands. Coverage of day two from the Netherlands continues on Sunday, October 8, at 3 p.m. ET on the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

Three-time Olympic medalist J.R. Celski highlights the U.S. men’s team, while 2014 Olympian Jessica Kooreman, who finished fourth in the 1000m in Sochi, and 2010 Olympic bronze medalist Lana Gehring highlight the U.S. women’s team. This season’s World Cup competitions will determine the number of qualification spots for the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics.
