Chicago, IL (September 5, 2017) – CSN Chicago (CSN) – transitioning to “NBC Sports Chicago” beginning October 2 – the home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls, Cubs and White Sox, has announced the promotion of 20-year sports advertising sales veteran Brendan Lewis to National Sales Manager, effective immediately.  Lewis replaces Jill Fields, who was recently promoted to General Sales Manager for the network.

Holding the previous title of Account Executive at CSN Chicago since the network debuted in October of 2004, Lewis will be responsible for all of CSN’s national sales efforts, including season-long sponsorship packages for its four professional sports team partners, along focusing on strategic planning/development of key national sales initiatives across all platforms.

“Brendan has most certainly established himself as a valuable leader at our network with a proven track-record of sales success,” said Fields.  “His experience, forward thinking, and attention to detail are extremely important assets to the evolution of our network and I’m delighted he will be leading our national sales efforts going forward.”

Prior to joining CSN Chicago in 2004, Lewis was an Account Executive at Fox Sports Net Chicago from November 2003 to October 2004.  From 2001-03, Lewis worked for ESPN/ABC Sports’ Chicago offices as an Account Service Executive, where he led and finalized multiple agency details for their national cable and affiliated network properties.  Lewis also previously held positions with Raycom Sports (1999-2001), first as a Sales Planner in New York, which followed with his advancement to Account Executive at their Chicago location, and began his career in New York as an Assistant Media Buyer at R.J. Palmer, Inc. (1997-99).

A native of Bedford, NY, Lewis earned his undergraduate degree in history at St. Thomas Aquinas College (Sparkhill, NY) in 1995, where he was also captain of the school’s baseball team in his junior and senior year.
