AVP PRO BEACH VOLLEYBALL TOUR RETURNS TO MANHATTAN BEACH WITH LIVE COVERAGE THIS SUNDAY AT 2:30 P.M. ET ON NBC

Chris Marlowe Calls the Action Joined by Kevin Wong and Dain Blanton

STAMFORD, Conn. – August 17, 2017 – NBC Sports Group’s live coverage of the 2017 AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour continues from Manhattan Beach Pier, Calif., this Sunday August 20, at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

The penultimate event in the AVP Tour returns to Manhattan Beach Pier, and is part of the Tour’s new elevated Gold Series. Headlining the event is recently crowned world silver medalists April Ross and Lauren Fendrick, 2008 Olympic gold medalist and three-time U.S. Olympian Phil Dalhausser, and U.S. Olympian Nick Lucena.

Olympic gold medalist Chris Marlowe serves as the play-by-play announcer, joined by beach volleyball Olympian and three-time All-American Kevin Wong (analyst), and Olympic gold medalist Dain Blanton (reporter).

NBC Sports Group’s 2017 AVP Tour presentation culminates with the AVP Championships in Chicago, Ill., on September 3.
