STAMFORD, Conn. – July 27, 2017 – NBCSN presents Professional Fighters League action this Saturday, July 29, live at 9 p.m. ET, highlighted by undefeated Andre “The Bull” Harrison (16-0) defending his featherweight title against Steven “Avenger” Rodriguez (10-2) from XFINITY Arena at Everett in Everett, Wash.

Professional Fighters League: Everett is the second of four events in 2017 leading up to the start of the inaugural Professional Fighters League season in January 2018. The event marks the first bout for Harrison since claiming the World Series of Fighting featherweight title in WSOF35, defeating Lance “The Party” Palmer by unanimous decision in March 2017. Rodriguez, a Costa Rican native, is fresh off his debut for the promotion, a victory over Alexandre “Capitao” Almeida in WSOF35.

The co-main event features Yushin ‘Thunder’ Okami (31-10) taking on Andre Lobato (25-6) in a welterweight bout. Okami has won seven his last 10 bouts, most recently against Paul Bradley in WSOF34. Lobato returns to the octagon after a two-year hiatus.

Saturday’s card also features a welterweight bout between Jake Shields (31-9-1) and Danny “Dee1” Davis Jr. (13-11-1), and Rex “T-Rex” Harris (10-2) vs. Bruno “Carioca” Santos (15-2) in a middleweight bout.

Play-by-play announcer Mike Corey calls the action alongside two-time Olympic judo gold medalist and analyst Kayla Harrison, UFC Hall of Fame members and analysts Bas Rutten and Randy Couture – who returns to his hometown of Everett to call Saturday’s event.

Professional Fighters League will host events on Saturday, October 14 in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Thursday, November 4 in Washington, D.C., before its inaugural season begins in January.

Professional Fighters League will be streamed live on NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports app via “TV Everywhere,” giving consumers additional value for their subscription service, and making high quality content available to MVPD customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms.
