STAMFORD, Conn. – May 3, 2017 – NBC Sports Group begins coverage of the IAAF Diamond League this Friday, May 5, with the first event of the season in Doha, Qatar, live at Noon ET on Universal HD and streamed live on NBC Sports Gold’s “Track and Field Pass.” As a part of its coverage, NBC Sports Gold will present multiple streams, including every event from Doha, highlights, replays, and an exclusive 30-minute preview of the event.

NBCSN presents encore coverage from Doha this Saturday, May 6, at 8:30 p.m. ET. In addition, NBCSN’s coverage will be streamed on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product available on mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs. Content will be presented as part of recently-announced Olympic Channel partnership among NBCUniversal, the IOC, and the USOC.

Highlighting the action in Doha are several Americans who won gold at the Rio Olympics: LaShawn Merritt (400m) Michelle Carter (shot put), Kerron Clement (400m hurdles), and Christian Taylor (triple jump). Other notable events in Doha include the men’s 100m, which features five-time Olympic medalist Justin Gatlin of the U.S. against Canada’s Andre de Grasse, who won three medals at the Rio Games; women’s pole vault, where 2016 Olympic silver medalist Sandi Morris of the U.S. renews her rivalry against Rio gold medalist Katerina Stefanidi of Greece; and the women’s 100m hurdles, which features Americans Keni Harrison, the world record-holder, and Nia Ali, the 2016 Olympic silver medalist.
