Saturday, March 4, 2017 (Third Round)
Chapultepec Golf Club
Mexico City, Mexico

**Final Round coverage of the WGC-Mexico Championship begins Sunday at Noon ET on Golf Channel, and continues at 2 p.m. ET on NBC.**

Justin Thomas (12-under, leader) speaking with NBC Sports’ Steve Sands following his round
Justin Thomas – “The first four or five holes I hit it pretty well, but I had some great, great saves for par today that really saved my round.”

On Thomas
Gary Koch – “He has obviously figured some things out. I think having veteran caddie Jimmy Johnson on his bag has made a big difference as well.”

Dustin Johnson (11-under, 2nd) speaking with Sands following his round
Dustin Johnson – “Obviously everyone is struggling a little bit on the greens. I made a few putts to start the round early. I think I made more feet of putts on the first three holes than all three rounds combined… I’m in a really good spot and we’ll go out and see what we can shoot tomorrow.”

On Johnson
Koch – “The short putts he’s missed have been more misreading them than mishitting them.”

On Phil Mickelson (10-under, T-3rd)
Koch – “You have to give him credit. A lot of players would change strategy if they were struggling with the longer clubs. There are holes here where you can hit irons off the tee, but he’s always done it his own way no matter what.”
David Feherty – “For Phil to weather this stretch, he’s got to feel pretty good going into tomorrow only two back.”

Jordan Spieth (7-under, T-10th) speaking to Sands following his round
Jordan Spieth – “I didn’t hit any foul balls. I hit a couple foul balls the first two days. Kept it a little straighter today and really stayed aggressive. I think the more rounds you play out here the more you kind of get dialed in to trusting your numbers in this altitude. Very pleased to what I think have a chance. If we did it today, we can do it tomorrow, so why not?”
