NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app — NBC Sports Group’s live streaming platforms for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs — will provide live streaming coverage of the men’s side of the event this weekend. The Rugby Channel will provide streaming coverage of the women’s matches.

The USA Sevens Rugby Tournament, the sole American event in the 2016-17 HSBC Sevens World Series, is one of the premier rugby sevens events in the world. NBC Sports Group’s presentation of the tournament will feature live coverage of full matches, as well as highlights from the three-day event.

The USA Eagles men’s squad features numerous players that participated for Team USA in the debut of rugby sevens at the 2016 Rio Olympics, including captain Madison Hughes and Perry Baker. Through four rounds, the Men’s Eagles Sevens have amassed 35 points, which ranks eighth out of 17 teams.
The Women’s Eagles Sevens have totaled 20 points in two rounds, including a second-place finish in Sydney, and currently sit in sixth position. Alev Kelter will serve as the captain for the team, following a 36-point output in six matches in Sydney.

NBCSN’s live coverage begins Friday at 7 p.m. ET, and continues with live coverage on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. ET. Following pool play, NBCSN will show live coverage of the semifinals on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET, and will televise the final on Sunday night at midnight ET.

Sevens rugby returned to the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016 following a 92-year hiatus.
