STAMFORD, Conn. – November 1, 2016 – This week’s all-new edition of NFL Turning Point, debuting Thursday at 1:30 a.m. ET / Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. PT on NBCSN, examines the Oakland Raiders’ overtime win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and takes an in-depth look at QB Derek Carr’s franchise-record breaking 513 passing yard performance.

In addition, the show breaks down QB Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys’ overtime victory against NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles; reviews QB Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons’ come-from-behind win over the Green Bay Packers; analyzes the strong performance of the Denver Broncos’ defense against the San Diego Chargers; and features in-game audio from the New Orleans Saints’ win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the 30-minute long NFL Turning Point, co-produced by NFL Films, airs weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode includes:

  • Raiders – Buccaneers: NFL Films analyzes Carr’s 513 passing yards, and examines his game-winning 41-yard touchdown pass to WR Seth Roberts with less than two minutes left in overtime.
  • Eagles – Cowboys: NFL Turning Point shines a spotlight on Prescott’s 19 completions on 39 pass attempts for 287 yards and two touchdowns, and reviews how Prescott helped lead the Cowboys to their sixth straight win. The segment also studies Prescott’s game-winning touchdown pass to TE Jason Witten.
  • Packers – Falcons: The segment takes a look at the overall matchup and breaks down Ryan’s clutch performance in the fourth quarter.
  • Chargers – Broncos: NFL Films highlights the strong performance of the Broncos’ defense, and reviews how the team reacted in the second half after defensive coordinator Wade Phillips left the game due to injury.

This week’s Sounds of The Game – Powered by BOSE – segment features in-game audio from the New Orleans Saints’ victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

In 2016 NBCSN will air a total of 21 NFL Turning Point episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 8, 2016, will look back at the “turning point” of Super Bowl LI.
