STAMFORD, Conn. – October 26, 2016 – NBC Sports showcases a classic NFC East showdown this week on Sunday Night Football featuring the top two rookie quarterbacks in the NFL, when Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys host Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Coverage begins with Football Night in America this Sunday, October 30, at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.

The Cowboys (5-1) have won five straight games, including a 30-16 win over the Packers in Green Bay, and have been led by the rookie tandem of Prescott and RB Ezekiel Elliott. Prescott has thrown for seven touchdowns and rushed for three more in his six career NFL starts, while committing just two turnovers. Elliott leads the NFL with 703 rushing yards, which ranks as the second-most in NFL history for a rookie running back in his first six games behind Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson (787 yards).

The Eagles (4-2) are coming off a 21-10 win over the previously-undefeated Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, as Philadelphia’s defense sacked QB Sam Bradford six times and forced three turnovers. Wentz leads all NFL rookies with eight passing touchdowns, and ranks second with 1,324 passing yards.

Last season, the Eagles defeated the Cowboys 33-27 in overtime on Sunday Night Football in Week 9. Dallas holds a 5-4 edge over Philadelphia all-time on NBC’s Sunday Night Football, and leads the all-time regular-season series 61-49.

Calling Eagles-Cowboys are seven-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his record 31st season as the voice of the NFL’s premier primetime package; 16-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth; and two-time Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
