NEW PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON KICKS OFF TOMORROW ON THE NETWORKS OF NBCUNIVERSAL

Commentary Teams Named for First Week of the Season

Coverage Debuts Tomorrow, Saturday, August 13 at 6:30 a.m. ET on CNBC

STAMFORD, Conn. – August 12, 2015 – NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2016-17 Premier League season kicks off tomorrow, Saturday, August 13. Coverage begins at 6:30 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on CNBC followed by newly promoted Hull City v. last season’s champions Leicester City at 7:30 a.m. ET. Coverage continues throughout the season on the networks of NBCUniversal, on the Premier League Extra Time bonus TV package, and streamed live on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

NBC Sports Group will once again make all 380 games from the Premier League available in the United States. All matches will be preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn. Steve Bower will host Premier League Live for the first two weeks of the season, joined by former Jamaica National Team player Robbie Earle and former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe.
