STAMFORD, Conn. – July 22, 2016 – NBC Sports Group’s more than 250 hours of live, primetime, and encore coverage of the 103rd Tour de France continues tonight at 8 p.m. ET with Tour Primetime on NBCSN. Tonight’s Tour Primetime features a look at the most compelling action of Stage 19, from Albertville to Saint-Gervais, with new analysis, interviews, and updates.
Despite crashing during a mountain descent in wet conditions in Stage 19, Chris Froome (Team Sky) was able to extend his overall lead in the Tour de France to four minutes and 11 seconds. Following the crash, Froome was forced to borrow teammate Geraint Thomas‘ bike in order to finish the stage. With just two stages remaining, Froome is looking for his third career Tour de France victory. Froome’s challengers include Stage 19 winner Romain Bardet (AG2R La Mondiale), and Nairo Quintana (Movistar Team), who sits in 3rd place overall.
NBC Sports Group presents live coverage of the final stages of the 103rd Tour de France this weekend, beginning tomorrow, Saturday, July 23 with the Tour de France Pre-Race Show on NBCSN. Live coverage of the penultimate stage of the Tour, Stage 20 from Megève to Morzine, will air at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN. In addition, NBC will present a recap show of Stage 20 on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.
NBC Sports Group’s live coverage of the 103rd Tour de France culminates this Sunday, July 24, at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN with the Tour de France Pre-Race Show, immediately followed by Stage 21 from Chantilly to Paris. NBC will present a recap show of Stage 21 on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET

In their 31st year working together, Phil Liggett (play-by-play) and Paul Sherwen (analyst) call all live racing for NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the Tour de France. Liggett and Sherwen are joined in France by analysts and former professional cyclists Christian Vande Velde and Jens Voigt. Todd Harris hosts daily pre-race and primetime studio coverage, along with analyst Bob Roll. Steve Schlanger, Jenna Corrado and Steve Porino (‘Inside-the-Race’) serve as reporters.
