STAMFORD, Conn. – June 8, 2016 – NBCSN presents Team USA’s final qualifying-round and medal-round matches in the 2016 Men’s Freestyle Wrestling World Cup this Sunday from The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. NBCSN will showcase live coverage of Team USA against Iran, the 2015 Men’s Freestyle World Cup Champions, at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by a presentation of Team USA’s medal-round match Sunday at midnight ET.

NBC Sports Live Extra – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs – will provide streaming coverage for both of Team USA’s qualifying-round and medal-round matches airing on NBCSN.

Members of the U.S. Olympic team in men’s freestyle are slated to compete at the Wrestling World Cup, including 2015 world champion Kyle Snyder. The Americans’ pool includes Iran, Azerbaijan, and India. The U.S. placed second at last year’s Men’s Freestyle Wrestling World Cup.

Earlier this year, NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra presented live coverage of the U.S. Olympic Wrestling Trials, part of NBC Olympics’ 76 hours of Trials coverage on NBC and NBCSN leading into the Games of the XXXI Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

NBC Sports Live Extra’s streaming coverage of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Wrestling Trials in April delivered nearly 10.5 million minutes, an increase of more than 1,800% from Live Extra’s U.S. Olympic Wrestling Trials streaming traffic in 2012 (579,000 minutes).
