Record Video Consumption on ProFootballTalk During NFL Free Agency
NFL free agency coverage boosted NBCSports.com’s ProFootballTalk to its best week ever for video consumption, delivering 600,000 video starts from March 7 – 13. In addition, Wednesday, March 9, ranked as PFT’s best day ever for video consumption with 278,000 video starts. Nine of the top 10 best days for video consumption on PFT have occurred since Monday, February 29.

NHL and Premier League live content contributed to the Yahoo Sports – NBC Sports Network ranking No. 2 among all sports digital sites in streaming minutes in February, with 446 million minutes, according to multiplatform data released by comScore.
Golf Advisor Sets Traffic Records In February
Momentum for Golf Advisor – golf’s leading course ratings and review website by golfers, for golfers – is stronger than ever, with site delivering its best month ever last month in all key user metrics, garnering more than 100% year-over-year increases for February.
Continuing to ride the exciting announcement of its “Best of” lists – Top 50 U.S. Courses in 2015 and Best of States lists across the United States – Golf Advisor’s February traffic set records across the board, with page views (1.1 million) up 169% year over year; unique visitors (334,000) up 144% percent; and visits (431,000) up 151%.
Currently featuring more than 450,000 golf course reviews of more than 10,000 courses around the world, Golf Advisor is designed as a one-stop, customized experience for golfers of all levels where they can find honest recommendations from their peers and also be offered the opportunity to provide their own feedback about any course they play, anywhere, anytime.
CSN Mid-Atlantic Digital Pays Tribute to Capitals Analyst for 25 Seasons
As Washington Capitals analyst Craig Laughlin celebrates his 25th season, CSNmidatlantic.com has rolled out content honoring his tenure this week. Coverage is highlighted by Capitals Insider Chuck Gormley’s article on the longtime analyst’s relationship with play-by-play announcer Joe Beninati. CSN Mid-Atlantic’s social and digital media channels have also featured special archival video and interviews with Laughlin and his on-air partners, including an appearance Thursday on SportsTalk Live with Brian Mitchell. Laughlin, who spent six seasons with the Capitals as a forward, assumed his current role for the 1990-91 season, immediately following his retirement as a player. CSN Chicago, Spredcast social campaign generates nearly 500,000 votes for #MascotMadness
Over the past month, CSN Chicago’s #MascotMadness inaugural poll contest called on Illinois high school communities to vote for the best school nickname. The 64-team poll – powered by NBC Sports Digital partner Spredfast – drove 467,000 total votes and 1.3 million page views which culminated yesterday with the Elk Grove Grenadiers winning the title. Elk Grove H.S. is hosting a pep assembly today to celebrate their #MascotMadness title. CSN Chicago will attend as their guest of honor and provide a live Periscope stream via @CSNPreps.
