ORLANDO, Fla. (Dec. 8, 2015) – Coming off last week’s victory at the Hero World Challenge, world No. 4 Bubba Watson will tee it up this week, along with Sergio Garcia and Martin Kaymer at the Asian Tour’s Thailand Golf Championship. The event also will serve as the second Open Qualifying Series event, with four players finishing in the top-12 (and ties) not already exempt receiving invitations to the 2016 Open Championship at Royal Troon. Jack Nicklaus leads a group of 12 World Golf Hall-of-Famers competing in the PNC Father/Son Challenge, with 20 father/son duos competing in a two-day event in Orlando. Twelve of the top-60 players in the world will be on display at the Franklin Templeton Shootout in Naples, also competing in two-man teams, across three days. The field includes Matt Kuchar, Patrick Reed and Zach Johnson, as Cameron Tringale defends (after winning in 2014 with partner Jason Day, who withdrew from this week’s event to spend time with his family after the birth of his daughter Lucy last month). And the Ladies European Tour stages its final event of 2015 with the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters. World No. 6 Shanshan Feng defends, and 22-year-old American Paige Spiranac is in the field on a sponsor’s invitation.
