BMW MASTERS PENULTIMATE EVENT FOR THE 2015 EUROPEAN TOUR SEASON

ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 10, 2015) – The PGA TOUR stages the OHL Classic at Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, with Charley Hoffman defending his 2014 title.  Saturday and Sunday’s third and final rounds of the OHL Classic at Mayakoba also will air live in Spanish on NBC UNIVERSO, Golf Channel’s sister network. The penultimate events on the LPGA Tour and the European Tour will be contested this week, both determining the final field for the season-ending events on both Tours.  The LPGA Tour also will be contested in Mexico this week, with the Lorena Ochoa Invitational in Mexico City representing the final opportunity for players to qualify for next week’s CME Group Tour Championship. The European Tour hosts the third of the four events representing the Final Series this week in Shanghai, China with the BMW Masters. With Race to Dubai points leader Rory McIlroy not competing this week, five players have the chance to overtake him in the points standings heading into the season finale at the DP World Tour Championship.

Saturday and Sunday’s third and final rounds in Spanish on NBC UNIVERSO: NBC UNIVERSO, the modern entertainment and sports cable channel for Latinos, will air live in Spanish the third and final rounds. Weekend coverage will feature Edgar Lopez handling play by play duties and Camilo Benedetti serving as analyst. Lopez also handles play-by-play duties for NBC Sports’ Spanish-language language telecast of Sunday Night Football, and Benedetti was a member of the Web.com Tour from 2007-2014.
Duval Co-Lead Analyst: David Duval will serve as co-lead analyst for Golf Channel’s live tournament coverage of the OHL Classic at Mayakoba, alongside play-by-play host Terry Gannon and analyst Curt Byrum.
