STAMFORD, Conn. – October 26, 2015 – 2015 Triple Crown winner American Pharoah leads a star-studded field as he aims for a historic, first-ever “Grand Slam” win in the running of the 32nd Breeders’ Cup Classic, live this Saturday, Oct. 31 at 4 p.m. ET on NBC.

American Pharoah faces competition from Beholder, who has won all five of her starts this year and seeks to become the first horse ever to win three different Breeders’ Cup races (2012 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies & 2013 Breeders’ Cup Distaff); Keen Ice, who edged American Pharoah down the stretch in the Aug. 29 Travers Stakes; and 2014 Belmont Stakes winner Tonalist.

The running of the 32nd Breeders’ Cup Classic culminates 8½ hours of Breeders’ Cup World Championships coverage this week on NBC and NBCSN from Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Ky. – the first time the race has ever been held at the storied track. Eleven Breeders’ Cup races will be televised live by NBC Sports Group.

NBCSN’s live coverage of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships begins this Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 4:30 p.m. ET with handicapping special “Betting The Breeders’ Cup,” and continues Friday, Oct. 30, at 3 p.m. ET, culminating with a three-hour show Saturday, Oct. 31 at 1 p.m. ET.
