STAMFORD, Conn. – October 14, 2015 – No. 14 Notre Dame and USC will continue college football’s greatest intersectional rivalry this Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC, when the Fighting Irish host the Trojans in a primetime matchup at Notre Dame Stadium. Coverage of USC – Notre Dame begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, NBCSN’s live pre-game show.

Notre Dame QB DeShone Kizer and the Fighting Irish (5-1) enter Saturday night’s game following a 41-24 win against Navy. USC QB Cody Kessler and the Trojans (3-2) visit South Bend, Ind., after a 17-12 loss against Washington.

Saturday’s meeting will mark the 87th time the two storied programs will face each other, with the rivalry dating back to 1926. USC defeated Notre Dame 49-14 at the Los Angeles Coliseum last November to regain possession of the Jeweled Shillelagh Trophy. Notre Dame holds an edge in the all-time series, boasting a 45-36-5 record. The two schools have combined for 22 National Championships and 14 Heisman Trophy winners.

Dan Hicks (@DanHicksNBC) calls Saturday’s game alongside 1984 Heisman Trophy Winner and analyst Doug Flutie (@DougFlutie), and sideline reporter Kathryn Tappen (@KathrynTappen).
