Stamford, Conn. – September 29, 2015 – Wednesday night’s all-new edition of NFL Turning Point at 11 p.m. ET on NBCSN features QB Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos’ matchup against QB Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions. The program examines the combination of key plays in the fourth quarter by both the Broncos offense and defense, which was the turning point in the game and secured the win for Denver. In addition, the episode breaks down QB Tom Brady’s 400th career touchdown pass and the Patriots’ win over the Jaguars; the Bengals’ game-winning drive against the Ravens; and Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones record-setting start to the season.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the 30-minute long NFL Turning Point, co-produced by NFL Films, airs weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode features:

  • Broncos-Lions: NFL Films reviews Peyton Manning’s performance against the Lions, and studies the key interception by Broncos’ S David Bruton Jr. with less than four minutes left in the fourth quarter. The segment analyzes how Manning capitalized on the play and highlights how he sealed the win by throwing a touchdown pass to TE Owen Daniels.

  • Jaguars-Patriots: NFL Turning Point shines a spotlight on Tom Brady’s 400th career touchdown pass. Wednesday’s episode will also feature in-game audio from Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, who was wired-for-sound during Sunday’s win over the Jaguars.

  • Bengals-Ravens:NFL Turning Point studies the Bengals’ go-ahead drive late in the fourth quarter and how the 80-yard touchdown play by QB Andy Dalton to WR A.J. Green put the game out of reach.

  • Falcons-Cowboys: NFL Films focuses on Julio Jones’ record-setting start to the season, and his impact against the Cowboys on Sunday. (Through three games, Jones leads the NFL in catches (34), receiving yards (440), and is tied for second in touchdowns (4).

Wednesday night’s Sounds of The Game – Powered by BOSE – segment highlights Seattle Seahawks DE Michael Bennett, and his brother Chicago Bears TE Martellus Bennett, who were both mic’d up in their game against each other during Sunday’s Bears-Seahawks contest.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

In 2015 NBCSN will air a total of 21 episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 4, 2016, will look back at the “turning point” of Super Bowl 50.
