CSN MID-ATLANTIC, WIZARDS ANNOUNCE 83-GAME REGIONAL TV SCHEDULE

WIZARDS PREGAME LIVE AND WIZARDS POSTGAME LIVE RETURN TO PROVIDE EXPANDED GAMEDAY COVERAGE

Bethesda, Md. (Sept. 23, 2015) – CSN Mid-Atlantic and the Washington Wizards have announced the team’s 83-game regional television schedule for the 2015-16 NBA season, which is highlighted by 80 regular-season and three preseason games, as well as comprehensive gameday programs Wizards Pregame Live and Wizards Postgame Live.

CSN’s live coverage of the Wizards, including pregame and postgame shows, will also be streamed live on CSNmidatlantic.com and the NBC Sports Live Extra app for tablets and mobile devices. The ‘TV Everywhere’ service, which debuted at the beginning of last season, allows authenticated CSN subscribers to watch from anywhere in the U.S.

CSN will tip off its schedule of live 2015-16 Wizards coverage with the preseason matchup against Philadelphia on Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. CSN’s third and final preseason game, at Philadelphia on Oct. 16, will be preceded and followed by the premiere of a season preview special, Wizards Countdown to Tipoff, which will encore multiple times. CSN’s regular-season schedule of live Wizards coverage begins with the opener on Oct. 28 at Orlando.

CSN’s live-game coverage will again be led by four-time Emmy Award-winning play-by-play announcer Steve Buckhantz and longtime analyst Phil Chenier, who are entering their 19th season together. Chris Miller will return as the courtside reporter and Wizards Insider J. Michael will again contribute to game coverage.

Wizards Pregame Live and Wizards Postgame Live will deliver comprehensive news, analysis and interviews surrounding games. The half-hour shows will feature Miller and Frank Hanrahan as alternating hosts, with Ron Thompson serving as lead analyst. Tony Massenburg and Cory Alexander will also provide analysis for select shows.

CSN’s daily news program, Geico SportsNet Central, will offer expanded Wizards news, features and interviews throughout the season at 10:30 p.m. and 12 a.m. In addition, SportsTalk Live with Brian Mitchell, which airs weekdays at 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., will feature Wizards commentary, debate and interviews.
