On the Sunday Singles Matches
Judy Rankin – “There were a lot of memorable things today to watch. Unbelievably great for this U.S. team and Juli Inkster. She has been a leader, not to just her team but for the European team too in the world of professional golf. I knew this was the right time for her. I couldn’t have told you this morning that I knew she was going to win b/c I didn’t. I knew she said the right things, did the right things. Everybody with this win – or had it been a loss – should be really proud of her and the team she put together and the effort that they gave.”
Rankin – “The U.S. team made 70 birdies today. Now that is the way to make it happen.”

On Team U.S.A. winning the 2015 Solheim Cup
Terry Gannon – “You got to believe it was taken down off the mantle. Europe ready to take it on a victory lap and the U.S. stole it back.”

Angela Stanford speaking with Golf Channel’s Jerry Foltz following her match
Angela Stanford – “This is so fitting for this group. This is probably the closest nit group I have ever been a part of. They picked me up and I fought for them today.”
Stanford – “Juli deserved this today. She is a class act. She deserved it.”

U.S. Captain Juli Inkster, speaking with Golf Channel’s Kay Cockerill following Team U.S.A’s victory
Juli Inkster – “From the emotions this morning to the emotions now, my team played so damned good out there. They never gave up. It was just amazing.”
Inkster – “Angela deserved that, she played pretty good this week and didn’t get a point. She has a heart of gold and she wanted it today.”
Inkster – “I was on them all week that you have to play with a lot of heart and fire in your belly and I told them to never give up. They hung in there. I love my lineup and loved the way they stacked up today. It is just a great feeling. A great feeling.”
Inkster – “She [Creamer] played great this week. I’ve got a ton of confidence in Paula. I knew if I needed a four-footer to make I knew she would make it. I put her last and it turned out great.”

Paula Creamer speaking with Golf Channel’s Jerry Foltz following her match
Paula Creamer – “It is unbelievable. I am so proud of our team and our captain for believing in us every second and believing in me for bringing me out here and putting me in an anchor spot – first out on Friday and last out on Sunday. I can’t believe it. I played great, it was a great match. I had one job and I was so excited to see all that red on the board. If this doesn’t show that us American girls don’t have any heart, than I don’t know what else we can do.”
Creamer – “I love this, I love representing my country, I love playing with pride and sportsmanship. The game of golf is all about that and this week symbols that. When I get here, it’s a different Paula. We have seen that in the past. I’m glad that she listened to me and she chose me and Brittany. That was the greatest decision for myself and this will help me and my career for sure.”

Europe Team Captain Carin Koch speaking with Jerry Foltz following the conclusion of the Solheim Cup
Carin Koch – “They are mixed, but it has been such a great week. I had such a fantastic time and the week of my life. For the matches to come down to the end like that did is so exciting. That is what we wanted this week, was to see good golf. If I can leave here and I feel like I’ve done my best than I’ll be happy and I feel like I’ve done my best. It could have gone either way today.”

On Alison Lee defeating Gwladys Nocera 3&1
Rankin – “I give her so much credit for coming out here and playing so well this afternoon.”

Alison Lee speaking with Golf Channel’s Karen Stupples following her match
Alison Lee – “To be honest I knew we needed to win the point back so we could put a little pressure on them going in to the last hole. I missed my birdie opportunity and I had just under two feet left. I could have sworn I heard someone say that’s good. It could have been from the stands, I don’t know. I looked at the putt, it was close and it looked good to me. Charley was walking of the fairway and Suzann was off the green, so I had no doubt in my mind it was good. I didn’t think twice about it. As soon as I picked it up and started walking off the green, all that happened. That just shows me that I need to double check before I pick up any golf balls, and I did that this afternoon.”

On Angela Stanford defeating Suzann Pettersen 1up
Judy Rankin – “Because of the lineup, because of the circumstances, because of a lot of things, Stanford was under some big time pressure and was up to the task.”
Rankin – “I was told this a long time ago, and this applies to Angela Stanford: One win will erase all of the losses.”

On Carlota Ciganda and Lexi Thompson Halving their Match, earning ½ point each
Jerry Foltz – “I’ve followed Carlota for many of the matches. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said this week, “Carlota for an eagle putt.” Seems like five times a round. She is striking the ball beautifully. Maybe Carlota is beginning to realize her potential that all of the other Spanish players have been telling us.”
Tom Abbott – “This was a battle of the big hitters. Impressive.”
Terry Gannon – “This has been an outstanding match.”
Rankin – “A lot of terrific golf from both of these players.”
Gannon – “This match has been nothing short of spectacular.”
