Gannon – “Battered and bruised for much of the match, Europe just got back up off of the canvas to deliver a knockout punch. They simply never gave up.”
Stupples – “The Europeans played these final few holes quite well. Even when they were down they just didn’t go away.”
Stupples – “That momentum shift towards Europe really knocked Creamer and Pressel.”
Kay Cockerill – “No worse feeling in match play than having total control over a match and see it erode in 30-45 minutes.”
Stupples – “Just goes to show you if one team gets off to a quick start, you just keep plugging away and never give up. You never know what might happen later on in the match.”
Cockerill – “The whole tenor of this match changed when Hull made a birdie at the 12th. Suzann came alive.”

Gerina Piller – “We all know that momentum is huge in this game, and especially at this event. Getting the momentum going and we just kind of rode it, which was awesome.”
Stacy Lewis – “I have been asking to play with her all week. I thought our games would mesh really well. We played great and made the key putts, that was the thing. We made the key putts. It was nice to see some putts going in today.”
Piller – “I think every match is just as important as the last one. There is one thing I’ve always believed in and that is taking care of your own self and what you have control over. That was my main thing today was to come out here and taking care of our match, and we did that.”
