Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network To Air 34 College Football Games in 2015

11 Local Teams Featured this Season  

The Comcast Network to Air Six Local High School Games

PHILADELPHIA- (August 24, 2015) – Comcast SportsNet, together with The Comcast Network, provides college and local high school football fans with the most comprehensive local and national football coverage by airing 34 NCAA and six local high school football games, plus weekly college football shows.

The college football schedule kicks off on Thursday, September 3 with the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears visiting the West Chester University Rams at 6 p.m. on The Comcast Network.

The #4 ranked Villanova Wildcats have six local TV appearances this season including the rivalry game against the University of Delaware Blue Hens. That game kicks off on Saturday, September 19 at 12 p.m.  Other games featuring the Wildcats include Saturday, October 10 at 12 p.m. against William & Mary; Saturday, October 17 at 3:30 p.m. against Albany, Saturday, October 24 at 7 p.m. vs. Towson; Saturday, October 31 at 11 p.m. vs. Maine (tape delay from 7:30 p.m.) and Saturday, November 21 at 12 p.m. against James Madison.

Other local teams making appearances on Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network include Delaware, Lincoln, Cheyney, Princeton, Penn, Bloomsburg, Bucknell, Lafayette, and East Stroudsburg.  (The entire broadcast schedule is attached.)

In addition to live game coverage, Comcast SportsNet and The Comcast Network will air magazine shows from Penn State, Rutgers and Notre Dame.  “Unrivaled: The Penn State Football Story” will air Thursdays at 11 p.m. and Fridays at 4 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet.  “R Football” featuring Rutgers football will air Fridays at 6 p.m. on The Comcast Network and “Inside Notre Dame Football” will air on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m., also on the Comcast Network.

The Comcast Network will air six high school football games. The schedule is as follows:
