2015 NHL DRAFT

NBC Sports Group will provide its most comprehensive NHL Draft coverage ever tonight on NBCSN at 7 p.m. ET from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Fla. Coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with a 30-minute NHL Draft Pre-Draft Special on NBCSN.

Liam McHugh will host coverage alongside analyst Pierre McGuire, NHL insider Bob McKenzie and draft analyst Craig Button. In addition, Kathryn Tappen will anchor coverage from the floor of the BB&T Center, conducting interviews with players, coaches and general managers. Darren Dreger will handle reporting duties, providing information on potential trades and developing storylines.

 

RED BULL SIGNATURE SERIES

NBC Sports Group continues coverage of the 2015 Red Bull Signature Series this Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC with Simple Session, one of the biggest indoor BMX contests in the world. Sal Masekela hosts coverage of the event from the Tondiraba Arena in Tallinn, Estonia.

 

BREEDERS’ CUP

The second automatic berth into the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic is on the line Saturday at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif., in the $500,000 Gold Cup at Santa Anita (G1), which will be televised live on NBCSN, beginning at 8 p.m. ET.

NBCSN’s coverage of the Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series on Saturday features host Laffit Pincay, III, analysts Randy Moss and Jerry Bailey, the Hall of Fame jockey and five-time Breeders’ Cup Classic winner, and reporter Nick Luck. Daily Racing Form’s Matt Bernier serves as handicapper.

 

TRACK AND FIELD

NBC Sports Group’s live coverage of the USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships this weekend begins tonight at 10 p.m. ET on NBCSN, and continues on NBC Saturday, and Sunday at 4 p.m. ET.

Tom Hammond, Ato Boldon, Craig Masback, Lewis Johnson and Todd Harris call the action from Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.

 

MOTORSPORTS

Highlighting NBCSN’s weekend motorsports coverage is the Verizon IndyCar Series’ MAVTV 500 from the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif., beginning tonight at midnight ET with qualifying. Live coverage of the MAVTV 500 begins Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

NBC Sports Group’s lead IndyCar play-by-play voice Leigh Diffey will call the MAVTV 500, alongside analyst and former race mechanic for the Benetton F1 team Steve Matchett, and analyst and former driver Paul Tracy. Robin Miller, Jon Beekhuis, Kevin Lee and Kelli Stavast will handle pit reporting duties.

In addition to IndyCar, NBCSN’s motorsports coverage includes the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship from Budds Creek National in Maryland, beginning Saturday at 9 p.m. ET with the Moto 2’s.

Jason Weigandt, analyst and two-time AMA Pro Motocross Champion Grant Langston, and pit reporter Georgia Lindsay will call the action from Budds Creek Motocross Park in Mechanicsville, Md.

Mecum Auctions: Denver rounds out NBCSN’s weekend motorsports programming, continuing Saturday at 1 p.m. ET, and concludes with five straight hours of action on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN, rounding out 12 hours of coverage from the auction company’s inaugural event in Denver, Colo.

NBC Sports Group’s Mecum Auctions telecast team of Scott Hoke, John Kraman, Stephen Cox, and reporter Bill Stephens call the action from the Colorado Convention Center.

 

DEW TOUR

NBC Sports Group continues its coverage of the 2015 Dew Tour season Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC, from Chicago, Ill., featuring many of the world’s best skateboard and BMX athletes.

Todd Harris, Chris Miller, Paul Zitzer and Carolyn Manno call the action from Grant Park Plaza in Chicago.

 

VOLLEYBALL

NBC Sports Group’s weekend coverage of the FIVB Grand Slam of Volleyball begins Saturday at 1:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN with the St. Petersburg Grand Slam.

Kevin Wong, Chris Marlowe and Dain Blanton will call the action from St. Petersburg, Fla.

 

GOLF

Golf Channel’s live tournament coverage this weekend features the European Tour’s BMW International Open, PGA Tour’s Travelers Championship, LPGA Tour’s Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, and PGA of America’s PGA Professional National Championship.

Coverage of the PGA Tour’s Travelers Championship begins today at 3:30 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Brian Hammons (play-by-play) and Curt Byrum (analyst) host coverage from TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Conn. Joining Hammons and Byrum are Frank Nobilo (tower), and Phil Parkin (on course).

Golf Channel’s live coverage of the BMW International Open continues Saturday at 7:30 a.m. ET and Sunday at 6:30 a.m. ET.

Scott Walker hosts coverage of the BMW International Open from Golf Channel’s studio in Orlando, Fla. Calling the action from the Golf Club Munchen Eichenried in Munich, Germany are Dominik Holyer (play-by-play), Warren Humphreys (analyst) and Julian Tutt (on course).

Weekend Coverage of the LPGA Tour’s Walmart NW Arkansas Championship begins Saturday at 3 p.m. ET, and continues Sunday at 5 p.m. ET.
